What are people saying about Quebec City

Great Half-Day in YQB.
Mr. Lamoureux was professional and very knowledgeable. Being in a minivan allowed us to get through narrow streets and see the upper and lower parts of the city with virtually nonstop dialogue covering history and all the restaurants. Then it was off to the falls and the island. Sugar Shack is a must and really neat experience. He was flexible in what we wanted to see, which was great, since we were a little short on time.

Excellent tour Quebec City environs
Tour of Ste Anne de Beaupré Basilica and “the falls” with Luc
OUTSTANDING tour. Luc pleasent funny knowledgeable and accommodating.
Sure glad I did private tour for me and my son. More expensive but the group tour had stops that just sounded tourist trappy and I didn’t want to waste time. The higher cost of private tour worth it
Luc very knowledgeable and appears to always be researching deeper into more topics, historical and cultural to expand the range of information he can provide. Asks if superficial or deep info requested
Luc is a Quebec native. English excellent
Highly recommended tour/guide and would definitely connect with him again. When I mentioned I didn’t get the time to visit plains of Abraham he made sure to take us through for the important highlights.
I’d go for >5 stars but five is most we can give of course

A Sparkling Tour Brought to Life by an Exceptional Guide
Our tour of the Château Frontenac was truly unforgettable, thanks to our passionate, knowledgeable, and exceptionally talented guide. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us with warmth and genuine enthusiasm, instantly setting the tone for a memorable experience.
Her deep knowledge of the château’s history brought every room, corridor, and story vividly to life. What stood out most was her energy—she didn’t just share facts, she told stories with a spark that kept everyone engaged and curious.
It’s rare to find someone who combines expertise with such a natural gift for connecting with people. Her love for what she does was unmistakable, and it made all the difference. We left not only with a greater appreciation for the Château Frontenac, but also feeling uplifted by her presence.
Highly recommended—this is the kind of guide who turns a simple tour into something truly special.

Snowshoeing
I highly recommend this activity! The park is gorgeous, and our guide, Levi, was a really cool guy. There was time to shop in the small gift shop before strapping on snowshoes and heading out. The hike was about 5 km, and seemed like it would be fine for anyone with moderate fitness levels. After the hike, we had a lunch back at the nature center, and then some free time to explore the area. When I come back to Quebec, I wouldn’t hesitate to take another tour operated by the same people!

Great Restaurants!
The restaurants were all top notch! It was very relaxing, we never felt rushed . The tour guide was knowledgeable. He answered all our questions, and gave us great tips on what to see and do. The Chef at three of the four restaurants presented the food and told us about what we were eating. A great experience.

We had the BEST guide -...
We had the BEST guide - Carole. She was personable, funny, engaging, and knowledgeable. I was worried a private tour might be awkward, but it wasn’t at all. We went at an easy pace, saw tons of interesting places, and throughly enjoyed our guide. Absolutely would tour again with Carole.

Great adventure
Our guide Aurelie met us on the bus with a cheery smile, and then drove us to the Jacques Cartier national park.
We had a lovely hike through the forest, although the weather was against us, she kept us going with interesting facts and a happy disposition.
Nothing was too much trouble for her.
Great time despite the rain.

Do it early in your visit if possible.
Even though we couldn’t book until our next to last day, the tour guide Peter was really good in showing us landmarks, and restaurants to go back to. We visited the bottom of the falls, and spent 45 mi. That allowed for plenty of pictures, and for fast walkers, a close up view.

Quebec 4-Hour Private City Tour
This was our turnaround day on a back to back cruise and our only chance to see Quebec. We selected this tour based on prior reviews and they were correct! We had a great day with Alexander. He told us so many details about the Old Quebec and adapted to our wants readily. We especially enjoyed getting to the Sainte Anne de Beaupre Basilica. What a beautiful place. We could not have asked for a better tour or a more knowledgeable guide. And the vehicle we toured in was so comfortable. Definitely book this tour. You won’t be disappointed!

Everything was very easy...
Everything was very easy and enjoyable. Gilles picked us up at our hotel, and drove us to all the stops on beautiful Ile d’Orleans. We didn’t have to worry about traffic, and he made introductions at our stops so that we were well taken care of. We finished our tour a bit early, so on the way back to our hotel, he drove us through a couple of areas just outside of Old Quebec - we really appreciated that he took the time for this. A very good afternoon!

Enjoying wine on Ile d'Orleans
An amazing way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Quebec.
We were a little concerned when we arrived for the tour as the information said the were maximum of 13 guests but there were 24 of us ready to venture for the afternoon. In saying this though, all the wineries we visited were well prepared to accommodate the number and did not feel crowded.
Our wonderful guide Jean Francios explained the itinerary at the start and what to expect during the afternoon. He then sat down with us at one of the wineries were we had a conversation about Quebec and Australia.
The three wineries we visited all offered something different. One held the tastings on the deck overlooking the vines, the second was set amongst an apple orchard and the third overlooking the vines and the Lawrence River.
As I said, it was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Quebec.
