What are people saying about Normandy

D-Day beaches
Guide Bert, driver and experience were wonderful . Beginning was poorly organized as there were 2 buses with the same number and participants were mixed up . representative ( from company or ship excursion , not sure which ) was rude, forcing people off the bus without telling them where to go in the pouring rain . Everything else was perfect and guide Bert was passionate, engaging and knowledgeable about his subject. My favorite part of the journey after a rough and confusing start from the ship .

The most wonderful poignant D-Day Landing tour with knowledgeable Lauren as a tourguide
I went on the D-Day landing tour today. Poignant, as Charlie describes it. I can get enough words in my brain to describe it. US cemetery, Omaha Utah Saint Marie Englese and a new site still being developed called DeLaPont du Hoc. So much history I am speechless !

Magical Mont St Michel
Worth it! Don’t second guess. It’s better with a guide. Our guide, Elise, shared her rich knowledge with wonderful story telling and excellent English. Mont St Michel was truly magical and breathtaking. The whole package was excellent and I would highly recommend.

Excellent way to see Normandy
This tour was wonderful. It is a long tour only because our port was so far away. Our tour guide Sam was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. He was articulate, knowledgeable and easy to hear and understand. The lunch that was provided was very nice.

Glad we picked this one!
Our tour guide was so flexible, personal and knowledgeable. He made this learning experience enjoyable, and we learned so much. Having a small group truly made this tour a great experience. Our guide, Aidan answered all of our questions and gave us time to explore the sites a little as well. I would recommend this tour without hesitation.

Great experience.
Normandy is a must see. Incredibly moving. Our tour took in the American beaches and the cliffs which were scaled by the Rangers. Our guide, Matthew was personable and knowledgeable, fluent in English. Definitely a highlight of our trip to France. We don't have anything to compare this with but without a doubt it was worth going.

Mont St. Michelle
Maton was great in explaining so much of this beautiful missionary! She was always ensuring we were comfortable in walking up the many stairs. She guided us through the lines with ease and all while keeping her cool. We learned a lot and greatly appreciated the entire event. I will recommend it to everyone.

Worth Every Penny!
This half-day tour was absolutely excellent! Our tour guide EMMANUEL was super kind, knowledgeable, and time oriented! We started on time, got back by noon, and still felt like we saw so much! Great tour, worth it! Do the full day if you have the time!

Amazing Experience with Fabrice
Fabrice made this an amazing experience. He was very knowledgeable about the details and specifics of what took place in Normandy. He discussed the strategies that were used and talked about the American soldiers as people and gave insight into their ages, experience level, and the weather conditions that they had to experience. I wasn't sure what to expect, but he was so interesting and made me want to know and learn more. He was very passionate about the subject and made this a trip to remember. There were several cruise ship excursions that day and he made sure that we avoided the crowds by being aware of their progress and changing the sequence of the areas that we toured. We also ate at a wonderful farm to table restaurant that he chose. He went above and beyond by giving us suggestions of where to eat in Paris and some history of the city. This trip was well worth the cost because of our amazing guide!

Great brief tour of Omaha Beach and American Cemetary
Excellent tour. It was brief for those that unfortunately cannot spend more than 1/2 day. It was a 2 1/2 hour train ride from Paris and Charles had us for about 4 1/2 hours. He is an excellent guide and knows a lot of history. We are so glad we came. We got an air-conditioned van and went to Long Sur Mer (point du Hoc was closed), then we went to Omaha Beach to the American cemetery. Charles even dropped us off at the train station.

Exceptional full day tour— to all the important D-Day sites!
Tour guide (Pascal) was knowledgeable, passionate, and entertaining! He kept our entire group interested as he shared historical information, photos, and anecdotes about D-Day in Normandie. We visited many historic sites that helped reinforce this period in history. The pace was good for folks of all ages and the transportation was very comfortable. Pascal was also a very good driver. This was a full day tour (9-5) but it flew by because Pascal was so interesting! I highly recommend this tour!

An amazing D-day experience
This tour is not for the faint of heart as it covers so much history, both heroic and tragic. Our guide, Faustin, was amazing. His historical knowledge was superb and he guided us with respect for the subject matter as well as good humor. It was a pleasure to spend the day with him. We learned so much we didn’t know about the planning and action of D-day and beyond, without being overwhelmed. We highly recommend this tour.
