Explore the McLaren Vale wine region at your own pace with a full-day hop-on hop-off winery tour from Adelaide. After departing from the Adelaide CBD or McLaren Vale, ride on a comfortable bus to your choice of more than 15 winery stops. Your Tasting in the Dark Experience will begin at the Hardys Tintara Cellar Door. You will meet your host at the Cellar Door where you will be guided to our Fortified Barrel Hall. This room is on the bottom level of the original winery, and maintains a constant temperature of 18 degrees Celsius, so make sure to bring a jacket in the colder months. Your host will then guide you through the wine tasting process and describe what role each of the senses play during the process. With the lights turned down, blindfolds on, and sipping from black wine glasses, you will discover what happens when you remove the sense of sight, and understand how it influences your wine tasting experience. This tasting is about enhancing your wine knowledge and gaining a deeper understanding of your palate.

Visit iconic and boutique family-owned cellar doors and wineries on this all-day guided tour in McLaren Vale. The tour can be customized to suit your tastes, which means the wineries will vary based on the group. Typically, the tour includes around five cellar doors and wineries in a day. This experience is located in the iconic d'Arenberg Cube where you will also be able to explore the Alternate realities museum. Experience the joy of cruising around McLaren Vale and Moana Beach on e-bikes and sampling amazing local wines on this fun-filled small-group adventure day. Starting by the beach in Moana, you’ll take the scenic route up to McLaren Vale with a gentle-paced e-bike adventure. Once you arrive, you’ll stop for a coffee and then swap the e-bikes for a minibus so you can enjoy tasting all the different wines of the region.
