Massively Recommended

Booking was very easy and the communication was on point. Feroz turned up at the hotel early and the car was immaculately clean and smelled nice. Feroz's knowledge of every area was extensive, he was very gentle and kind and looked after me really well, he even took some photos for me so that I could be in them. He catered to what I wanted out of the journey as I needed extra time to go ziplining at Valle Park. Due to delays because of large groups I ended up being late coming out of the park but Feroz waited for me patiently and was completely understanding. Unfortunately I had a bad fall and my knee was bleeding everywhere, I said we could just go back to the hotel because I was so late but he insisted that I get medical attention so we were even later. I felt so well looked after and I could not recommend this service enough.

A Great Day Out

A great day out. We had plenty of time to explore each activity before moving on to the next one. Beni was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and delighted us with the history of Mauritius. We picked up some bargains from the market and had a lovely walk around the botanical gardens and saw the giant tortoises. Cap Malheureaux Church was beautiful and we stopped to take photos of Grand Baie beach. Chateaux de Labourdonais was a colonial house where you could taste the varieties of rum. Well worth the money.

A fantastic way to see the sights with an incredible guide 5 stars!!

Excellent guide. Chucky was just fantastic,. We wanted to adjust the schedule so that we were not out all day and Chucky gave us exactly what we wanted. He picked us up at exactly our agreed time, made sure we were 100% comfortable and we headed for the sights we wanted to see. He stopped at a couple of amazing views for photos on the way. His knowledge of the island is fantastic and it was a really pleasure to spend the morning with him. I cannot recommend this tour more highly for value and experience.

Definitely worth it!

Great guide! It happened in a small group. The places where we stopped to try some food were absolutely delicious. The guide had some great stories about the city and Mauritius more generally. The natural history Museum was also beautiful with some well explained exhibits.

It was a pleasant day tour . Full of places to explore and admire in the south of the Island. I was so lucky with the fine weather as this day tour maybe affected by it . Anyway this day tour is a must if ever in Mauritius. The car was very clean and the guide driver answered all my inquiries plus he informing about all the places we stopped in . Puts other quad bike tours to shame!

We had the absolute BEST time doing the quad bike tour with Pipo. He was amazing and made it so much fun for us. He took us to some gorgeous photo locations and explained about the nature. It was honestly the best quad bike tour we have done (we do one each holiday if we can) and this definitely wins! Thank you Pipo!!

The experience was...

The experience was unmatched and exceeded our expectations. The booking was easy. pick up and drop off was smooth. Were picked at our hotel in grand bay. The drive took 1.5hrs give and take. All the sight seeing experience was amazing. The 7 colored rocks, black river gorge, temples were beautiful.

Our private day trip in...

Our private day trip in Mauritius through Viator was better than we could have hoped for. Our guide, Raj, was fantastic. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about the history and sites. We saw everything that was listed on our itinerary plus more and he catered our timing to what we wanted to spend more or less time doing. He was prompt and flexible on our timing as well. Our lunch stop was a wonderful restaurant and the food was an excellent sample of local food. A great choice for our only day spent on the Island. We were so excited to see Mauritius and our Viator tour worked perfectly for our schedule.

Wonderful tour of beautiful Mauritius with our driver Ajay!

What a wonderful tour of Mauritius! Ajay, our driver was waiting for us at the Cruise Terminal with a sign with our name on it, as promised, at the appropriate time. He made us comfortable in his air conditioned car and we headed off for our first destination. Ajay shared with us the history of Mauritius and many other interesting facts. We visited all the promised locations on the itinerary. Each location was beautiful and very interesting! Our favorite was the Black River Gorges overlook! It is one of the most beautiful valleys I have ever seen! We also enjoyed our visit to the Hindu Temple. Ajay explained about the Hindu Gods and beliefs. We stopped at a lovely restaurant for lunch (at our own expense). The local food was plentiful and delicious! We were able to buy lovely souvenirs at a nice shop. Then back to our ship in good time. This was a fantastic tour and we highly recommend it and especially Ajay!

Our day out in Mauritius

A full day with lots of experiences. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the area. The included lunch was delicious with choices. The coloured earth looked more colourful on the picture on the internet than in real life but this did not detract from the overall tour. The visit to the tea and rum tours were very good. Plenty of tea to try with no hard sell. Don’t get too drunk tasting the many varieties of rum!!!

Recommend, particularly if you are South Side of island to see something new

Take your own snorkels unless you're happy enough to use one's provided on the boat. If you can take an underwater go pro or pouch for your phone to take amazing footage of turtles and fish. Deepak is a very knowledgeable guide - encourages you to try local delicacies which were nice. 5⭐️ to Deepak!
