This tour was EXCEPTIONAL! The food and Pisco Sour were delicious! Our chef, Rafael was an excellent teacher and totally engaged with our group. We have taken many cooking classes and this class was one of the BEST!! Would definitely recommend!

    I joined this cooking class with my friend. The quality of the food was beyond our expectations. We love Peruvian food and have tried some at restaurants, but his recipes were even more delicious than what we had before. We are so happy to learn how to cook them. The chef was very knowledgeable and kindly answered our questions. Make sure to come with an empty stomach. I wish I could have finished all the food! It was the best experience I had during my Lima trip.

    Raphael was entertaining and a great chef. He spent time on the types of pisco for the pisco sour and gave us a choice. There were only three of us, so we got lots of attention. He explained how the lime juice affects the fish in the ceviche, and then we watched him flame the meat for the lomo saltado. It was a lovely was to spend the afternoon and have a good meal.

    I had an amazing experience with Chef Rafael. He was charismatic, welcoming, and made the entire class both fun and engaging. I learned how to prepare classic Peruvian dishes like pisco sour, ceviche, causa limeña, and lomo saltado, and he explained each step clearly while sharing cultural insights behind the food. The atmosphere was relaxed and interactive, which made it easy to enjoy the process and ask questions. Everything we made was delicious, and it felt very authentic.     I have a great time at this cooking class. I learned how to make some of the classic Peruvian recipe but also some historic information related to it. Rafael has a very good English and is generous with his knowledge. Very passionate about food.

    Put this on your MUST DO List while traveling in Peru. Rafael is a great chef & provides you with a great experience with details about each dish. Be prepared to spend about 2 hours learning while cooking. We cannot wait to make these recipes when we return back to Indiana.

    Rafael was a wonderful host and chef. He helped us create 3 traditional Peruvian dishes, pisco sour, and a surprise desert at the end. With each dish he explained the history of the food as well as his personal connections to the dish. He definitely has one the of the best lomo Saltado in Lima! Definitely a must do in Lima!

    Chef was incredibly knowledgeable on food history, alternative recipes and able to answer every question you had. He was patient and allowed us to be engaged in every dish while also giving us time to enjoy each one. The ingredients used tasted amazing and fresh and could tell he was an experienced chef! Overall, so glad we were able to take the class with Chef Rafael! He was even able to instruct the class in Spanish & English.

    This is an awesome experience. The chef is great and very nice, food was delicious and there was plenty! We learned how to make ceviche, causa, lomo saltado and pisco sour. All were really good!!
