A must do when staying in La Paz!
This was a highlight of our trip!!! The description is exactly how it all played out, and it was so much fun. As someone who is scared of heights, I was apprehensive, but it was such a rush and the views were so spectacular that it was so worth it. As long as you listen to the safety instructions and aren’t stupid, you’ll be completely fine. I highly recommend going with Gravity. Seeing some of the other tour companies on the road with us, our bikes were much sturdier and looked so much safer, so for your own safety and peace of mind, spend the extra money with Gravity. They are also the only tour that ends at the animal sanctuary, and a portion of the cost of the tour goes towards the sanctuary where animals are rescued from the illegal pet trade. So on top on an amazing experience, you’re helping a local organization as well. Our guides Kenneth and Cesar were awesome!!! Oh, and WEAR WATERPROOF CLOTHING AND SHOES.

Excellent
This is an excellent tour. Damo, Freddie and Omar are such excellent guides. We had fun, excitement but above all safety all day.

This is a must do bucket lits tour.
This tour was an amazing experience. Not only was the road and its views breath taking, the guides and driver were extremely friendly, knowledgable and helpful, safety and comfort were top priority. I would definately suggest this tour to those in search of the experience of a lifetime.

Death Road (North Yungas Road)
  • You don’t need to be an expert cyclist to ride Death Road(North Yungas Road), but it’s important to feel confident on a bike.

  • Temperatures can vary dramatically from the beginning to the end of the ride, so bring layered clothing that you can shed while descending.

  • While the first part of the road is paved, it turns to dirt as you approach the Yungas, so many tour operators offer bicycles with front suspension that can absorb shocks.
