Highlight of our trip

Myself and my sister went on a 1 hour guided horseback ride with no horse riding experience. Staff were excellent, answered any questions you had before and during the ride, paired you to a horse appropriate with your riding level, and were willing to take pictures of you during the ride (the pictures turned out great). The horses were also very well behaved and well trained - shout out Ray and Martina! Views were stunning and great experience but still very glad we went with the 1 hour option because we were still quite sore afterwards.

Damien (driver) and Daisy (horse) made this an unforgettable experience as part of our stay in Killarney. Damien was so friendly and full of interesting facts and stories about Killarney Park, history of Ireland. You can see how much he loves his horse from the way he enthusiastically answered our questions about Molly. He made sure we were comfortable and provided blankets to keep us warm. This was great fun and a good day out activity. Just remember that the walk rolls straight into the boat ride so make sure you pack appropriate clothing. It’s a good 11km walk and then you sit on the boat so carry some extra warm kit if the weather isn’t great. Also everything on the tour is cash only.

Highly recommend

Really relaxing experience. It didn’t rain on my horse back trip. Personally, I don’t think it would have been as fun if it rained but enjoyed the scenery, the quiet and the horses. Definitely recommend if you enjoy horseback riding and beautiful scenery. I am Also a beginner (have only ridden horses 5x) and it was very easy to do. No issues if you are a beginner.
