Top Cádiz Wildlife Watching

See a remarkable display of Spanish horsemanship at a showcase of Andalusian horses, with routines that feature Spanish music and 18th-century costumes. Watch choreographed routines ranging from classical dressage to carriage driving and doma vaquera, which traces its roots to traditional cattle herding techniques. This ‘How the Andalusian Horses Dance’ show is held at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, in the historic center of Jerez.

The entire experience takes place within a wild olive forest, a few meters from Mangueta beach. We will enter one of the fields where the herds live in freedom to carry out the observation and Mindfulness activity. Horses are social and highly emotional animals, capable of perceiving our emotions immediately. They are true masters in the practice of “here” and “now” and fabulous gauges of authenticity and coherence. They don't lie, they don't have an ego, they don't judge, but they do react on what they perceive. They are capable of accentuating our sensitivity and enhancing qualities such as empathy, non-verbal communication and relationships with others.

Take in the beauty of Cádiz during the golden sunset hour with this horseback ride along the long open stretch of sand at Playa Mangueta. Begin with a brief tutorial to get comfortable with your horse, then set off at a relaxing pace to skirt the surf as the sun dips below the horizon to savor the view and snap souvenir photos.
