Great factual information about the city of Houston. Wonderful murals along the tour route. And interesting facts about the architecture.
Karen_B, Apr 2026
It was a nice ride through the downtown area of Houston with views of architecture and murals, narrated by the driver and with recordings.
Anita_S, Apr 2026
I was pleased that I did this tour. It was very educational. I would have liked the tour to include a little more or uptown. Maybe a drop off at galleria mall

Low hanging branches. Great tour of Houston on the double decker bus. We were here from Delaware and my cousin from Fort Worth were with us. It gave us a great over view of what we wanted to do and go see in Houston.
William_K, Feb 2026
Trip cancelled without notification . Waited hours for tour bus that was locked up and no driver ever appeared.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Hi, we notified 2 times you in advance through the third party where you purchased the ticket. In this case, the tour was postponed due to roadblocks (street repairs)on our tour route, and the tour was rescheduled for the next day. The refund applies. Sorry for the inconvenience. The tour guide was friendly and very knowledgable. We really enjoyed the tour and would be recommending it to our families and friend. The ticket price was very affordable. The bus was very clean.

Friendly staf, worthy tour. The girls at the tour office, the driver of the bus and the guide were so helpful
Charlotte_S, Jan 2026
The driver was friendly and knowledgable about the city and its history and all the beautiful murals we saw. He was also very accommodating to us. The lady at the front desk that checked us in was very helpful and friendly too. It was a great experience.
Bruce_C, Jan 2026
Good way to view downtown Houston architecture and murals, but commentary by guide/driver was often personal and not relevant. The loud music detracted from the overall experience.

Fun tour of Houston. I am happy we choose to take this tour. Great experience with many interesting sights!
Alison_L, Dec 2025
Wonderful tour if you want to get to know Houston! Great mix of murals, architecture, and history. The ride is 80 minutes which is the perfect amount of time if traveling with kids. Our family loved it!
Kim_L, Dec 2025
This tour company is family owned & so well done! I’m a local and learned MUCH about my city. Highly recommend!
Jeremy_E, Dec 2025
Madden is crew or super knowledgeable and were accommodating willing to make changes to a reservations and was upfront transparent about everything. The experience itself was awesome we're able to get a good combination of both inner city driving highway driving and country driving as well. We got to watch the sunset during our drive and also experience a little bit of humidity that made some additional excitement for the drive. Highly recommend this experience.
Nattane_G, Dec 2025
The tour was amazing! Yolanda, the driver, was fun, entertaining and very informative! We highly recommend!
Adam_Z, Nov 2025
A bit long but worth the cost. Bring shades and a hat for on top of the bus tour. Inside the shop their are places to take photos. No stop and Photos on the tour.
Donna_D, Nov 2025
We rode up and down the same streets in the civic center. It was a nice tour but the audio from the driver was hard to understand although the recorded audio was ok.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Hello , was great to have on one of our tours. The reason we went up and down is because this is also a Mural tour ,so the idea is to share with you the more street art , history, architecture and city culture
Johanna_N, Nov 2025
From the very beginning, this tour was organized, engaging, and absolutely worth every moment. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about sharing the local culture and history—she made every stop come alive with stories and fun facts that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. The itinerary struck a perfect balance between must-see landmarks and hidden gems, giving us both the big picture and the charming local touches.
The pace was just right—never rushed, but always moving enough to keep things dynamic and exciting. We had plenty of time to explore, ask questions, take photos, and even linger where we wanted. The logistics were seamless: meeting point, transportation, and timing everything worked without any stress. The small group size made a huge difference too — it felt personal rather than a generic “tour bus” experience.
What I appreciated most was how the tour catered to different interests. Whether someone was into history, food, architecture, or simply soaking in the vibe of the city, there was something for everyone. I left feeling enriched with new knowledge, inspired to explore further, and grateful for the friendly new connections made along the way.
In short: if you’re looking for a well-organized, immersive, and fun way to experience the area, this tour is a top choice. Highly recommended!

Purchasing the ticket was done with ease. The driver was great and enthusiastic. I thought there would be more drop off points.
Response from Host, Nov 2025

Robin_A, Oct 2025
Pleasant trip, beautiful murals and the history of Houston while weaving through the city. Worth doing.
Jeanette_P, Oct 2025
A great experience. Staff friendly and commentary informative. Great waiting are with souvenirs. Recommend
jude_e, Oct 2025
Good knowledge of history and facts. Wish the coverage area was broader and reached areas outside downtown.
Curtis_P, Oct 2025
1 1/2 hours driving through an empty Sunday city. About the only time the guide spoke was when coming up on a mural or historic building. Lots of silent time that should have been filled with something more about the city.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Thank you so much for your message. The idea is to create space and time for you to ask questions or take time to take pictures and admire the architecture and Murals. We sincerely appreciate your comment and will add more city info.
Vivian_L, Oct 2025
Our driver was very good driver, entertaining and informative about Houston’s history. A great experience and would do it again.
ISABELLE_L, Sept 2025
it's amazing to visit downtown bus bus to se buildings, places and ,monuments. It's easier after to continue by walking
Elizabeth_D, Aug 2025
This would be a top priority, but bring literal money to leave a tip. We only had a card and a $100 bill with us and we could not tip the driver. I felt so bad because it was a wonderful trip.
