This was a fun tour to learn about the history of Red Rocks Amphitheater and get a little behind the scenes type of information. Chris was very knowledgeable and kept us out of the hot sun as much as possible. There are a lot of steps and steep slopes, but she kept the pace manageable for us. We enjoyed the tour and definitely recommend it.

Kristina loaded this tour with history, geology, music facts, details about the amphitheatre, and personal anecdotes. It was the perfect pace with ample places to stop for us (we traveled from sea-level and weren't quite yet acclimated to the altitude); she was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and engaging - asking us questions to create a comfortable sense of inclusion. We got a full sense of the place from bottom (John Denver statue) to top (visitor center) with stops along the way to take in the views and the history. We were there in the afternoon, and the crew for the evening's band was performing a sound check, so even though we didn't see a performance, we got a sense of the amazing acoustics that the natural setting provides. The views of the surrounding area are spectacular and worth the climb. Learning how Denver acquired this space and how this was built added so much to our experience.

Nice experience with the family. Not the best day to tour the amphitheater due to the high winds, but cool to see. Our travel guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Upon checking our records, we did not receive any calls or messages around that time and our guide contacted us shortly after start time to see if there were any notices from you. Following our standard procedures, our guide left the meeting point at 9:11am as per the time stamped photo provided to our office. We are sorry that we were not able to host you as intended.

I have been to Red Rocks for concerts before and was familiar with some of the history of the venue, but the tour guide (Kristina) was more than well versed in the total history of how Red Rocks was conceived and built and how it came to be in its’ present state. Also, having the time to tour (never had the time or space during a concert event) the museum and related Red Rocks items and markers and by Kristina providing additional details much was learned and made the experience (Jimi Hendrix even played there as noted in the museum) totally worthwhile.

The formed the amphitheater was so impressive! We couldn’t stop taking pictures! Our travel guide Michelle was full of information and kindly let us take much needed breaks as we walked up the steps!
