Very enjoyable tour of San Sebastian with Dave
We visited San Sebastian for the day whilst staying in Bilbao and had a hugely enjoyable and informative tour of the town with Dave, our very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Nothing was rushed and all the information given was clear and good humoured. Dave answered all of our many questions put to him and gave us great recommendations for places to eat and places to visit after the tour. We would highly recommend booking. Thank you Dave!

Delicious and abundant pintxos.
I loved our guide. Nerea. The tour was quite complete, she spoke to us not only about the food, but also about places, history, and anecdotes of San Sebastián. The food / pintxos were exquisite and the wines too. In the end we felt very satisfied and the amount of food is more than enough to complete a dinner.

Perfect Pintxos Tour
Erich was great, perfect overview of culture, history, language, and yes…..the best spots for the best food and drink. Not only did he provide a great tour but followed up with recommendations for restaurant and missed gems. I would highly recommend his tour your first day in San Sebastián!

A Little Lost in Translation, but Full of Flavor!
I really enjoyed my pintxos tour! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and friendly. We explored the town on foot and visited some wonderful, unique spots that tourists wouldn’t normally discover on their own.
The only downside was the language situation. We had a large group of French-speaking guests who didn’t speak English. Although the tour was booked in English, our guide kindly accommodated them by conducting about half of it in French, which left me feeling a little isolated at times.
To his credit, he was very apologetic and made an effort to speak more English. He also thoughtfully offered me a complimentary dessert and drink, which I really appreciated.
Despite this, it was a lovely experience, and I would absolutely recommend this tour with him! My only suggestion would be to keep English-language tours primarily in English so everyone can fully enjoy the experience.

Best Tour Guide!
Our tour guide Rafael was great and made our day long experience incredible! He was so knowledgeable, easy going and friendly which made the tour memorable. From hiking to the Gaztelugatxe, the walking tour of Bilbao and our visit to the Guggenheim Museum, all so enjoyable!

Basque flavor is built differently.
The Chef, Mattin knew his stuff really well and did a good job demonstrating. He went over basic knife skill which to me was a complete waste of time (I think most people signing up for a cooking class already know this safe methodology). The other aspects of the class were spot on. My only disappointment comes from Basque cooking technique not from the class. It turns out this style of cooking uses blending food flavors for piquing the taste buds much more than using spices; the only spice used was salt. How to blend the flavors to accomplish this would be far too broad a subject for this 3-hour class, but I got enough information from the class to want more. Basque pintxos food is built on and highlights this technique but you cannot learn it from eating them unless you have some understanding of this in the first place. Since we had pintxos before the class it made me aware of this and we did spend 2 more meals eating pintxos to get a better understanding of the mixing and highlighting flavors we saw in the brief discussion of pintxos in the class. I highly recommend the class, but don't expect to learn how to build Basque flavors; that is a much more complex subject.

A fantastic way to...
A fantastic way to explore San Sebastián! The city is exceptionally bike-friendly, featuring dedicated, well-marked bike paths that make riding safe and seamless all the way around. Our tour guide, Alain, was incredible—engaging, knowledgeable, and great with the group. It was such an enjoyable experience that even our 19-year-old son loved every minute of it. Highly recommended for all ages!

Highlight of our trip!
We had an amazing experience on our food tour! Our guide, Gonzalo, had a great energy and blended local knowledge with an enthusiasm for the cuisine. I would highly recommend! Our meeting point was easy to find. The walk through the old town was very feasible - it's a compact area! He also gave us amazing tips on other places to dine during our trip.
Our only piece of feedback is that the tour description was general, and left us with the impression that our pintxos would be less fish-forward. (Some members in our group were not as enthusiastic about fish, and we went with this tour because its description seemed to include less fishy stops.) That said, Gonzalo was amazing and kind to adapt on the spot, and we recognize that the cuisine in this region is quite obviously heavy on the seafood :)
Thank you for this amazing trip highlight! 12 out of 10!

Great trip
You will learn a lot about the Basque people and the people that currently live there. Bring your camera for a beautiful fuse and comfortable walking shoes. The drive was very relaxing and pleasant. Our tour guide was great. He was very knowledgeable.

Tour of west coast from San Sebastián.
Tour of beautiful coastal scenery with several stops along the way to explore and take photos. Iker was a terrific guide and explained so much about Basque history and culture along the way. He knows many local people and we had special tastings of world class sorbet and viewed people deboning anchovies !
We learned a lot (why the rowing culture started here) and had s great time
Thankyou,Iker.

With Aitor you are in good hands
Three fairytale cities in one day.
Punctuality, competence, and availability of the guide, the nice Arton, who knew how to guide us on the three tours, helping us navigate Bayonne where we unexpectedly found ourselves in an endless vortex of people at the city festival.
Everything went well.
I recommend the excursion.
