We were having trouble...
We were having trouble with the altitude and our driver and guide , Paul and Lucifer, adjusted our tour to meet our needs. They were super accommodating. Paul was an amazing driver, negotiating tight turns, and tiny streets with ease. Lucifer was so knowledgeable about the Country, city, local customs, flora, etc. Both had great senses of humor and were warm, friendly and went above and beyond expectations. We highly recommend using them in your travels.

It was just my husband...
It was just my husband and me, and it was as if we had booked a private tour! We visited such beautiful and historic sites. Plus we stopped for handmade ice cream! Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.

Go Marcellus!
Marcellus is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and details of Quito. This is a easy walk, some uphill portions. We didn’t make ice cream but we tasted some great sorbet in the Bishop’s palance.

Modified the plan to create our ideal itinerary
Daniel easily flexed the itinerary for our day after hearing the previous visits we’d made. The day ended up perfect for us, seeing the key sights we hadn’t seen and including allowing for a little shopping time!

Good Intro to Old Town
I did this tour on my first day in Quito. Its a good introduction to the old town and the fruit, chocolate and ice cream tasting are fun. We learned a lot about the city and saw some important sites.

Fabulous day trip
Daniel was a great guide. He explained the history of the area and the significance of the buildings and monuments visited. Because the cable car was fogged in, he recommended a side trip to a hummingbird sanctuary which was fabulous, even in the pouring rain!

A truly fabulous day!
What a fabulous day! This was a last minute booking as another had fallen through and I can’t thank this company enough for making it happen on such short notice. Communication was excellent, and Carla the manager also made time to meet with us!
Our guide Cecelia and driver David became family instantly! 😁. We saw some wonderful sites - Quito from on high, the Equator site, complete with a truly fun experience at the museum, and the Old Town with some stunning architectural delights. And always with lots of information from Cecelia. We’ve fallen hard for Quito, a beautiful town and worth spending a lot of time exploring. Also had a typical Ecuadorian lunch which was delicious.
Thank you so much Cecelia and David, and Lead Adventures! You’ve given my sister and I many happy memories.
