Mr. Eng Choon Wooi is the best tour guide i have ever come across in the 20 counties i have visited and the over 100 tours i have done all around the world. As a local and a guide in Penang for over 10 years, Mr. Eng Choon Wooi knew exactly where to take us in our private and customisable tour. We felt like VIPs skipping the queues, his charisma is unmatched, he made us laugh so many times and told us secrets that only Mr Wooi and the locals would know. In the our wonderful 6 hour tour, he showed us all the best areas in Penang, explained to us in detail about each of our spots, the history of not just Penang but Malaysia as a whole, he took several photos for my mum and myself at all the very best areas and went above and beyond and took care of us in every way like we were special, he made us feel special.. I have been on great tours but I don't think there will be a better tour guide then Mr. Eng Choon Wooi. He truly stands out as the best. Thank you Mr. Eng Choon Wooi, i will recommend you to everyone who wants the best tour period!

Amazing day

Had a thoroughly enjoyable tour with Josh. He was very friendly and very informative. We loved our visit to Kek Lok Si temple but the outstanding part for us was our trip on the funicular to Penang Hill. Travelling with a guide allowed us to bypass the huge queues and Josh made sure we got the best view on the way up and the way down. Stunning. After Penang Hill we had a visit to a coffee shop and got to taste lots of different flavours of Penang white coffee. All delicious but we particularly liked the coconut and took some home. Wish we had taken more packets as they are quickly running out. After that we had a visit to the Thai Temple Wat Chayamangkalaram before being taken back to our hotel. Would definitely recommend doing this tour.

We had a fantastic time...

We had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide Ashline picked us up at the cruise terminal. She was very friendly and knowledgable. Ashline brought a large bag of fruit for us to feed the orangutans. There were only 2 other couples at the sanctuary so we were able to get pretty close to the orangutans for some great photos. We then returned to George Town where Ashline stopped to get us some delicious samosas for lunch. Then a tour of the area. We saw the street art & walked along Chew Jetty. We would have spent longer there but the intense heat was too much for us so Ashline returned us to our ship. Highly recommend this excursion.

We had a great time with our hosts, Mok & Amy who were helped by some wonderful assistants. We were a family of 4 with 2 boys aged 11 & 13 and this class catered for everyone. It stated with a market tour getting an insight into local ingredients, a stop for breakfast and coffee and on to the cooking class covering traditional Nyonya foods like Char Kway Teow & Chicken Curry Kapitan. 100% recomend

Cultural heaven!

Jessie was brilliant! She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating information about the religions and culture of Malaysia. Our group ranged in age between 4 and 84 years and she made sure to engage and include everyone. One of our party had also sustained a back injury whilst on holiday so the tour was adapted to allow this person to see the main sites and not miss out as much as possible. We were not rushed and given ample time to explore each site - and she answered our many questions! We ran late (because of us exploring each site) so we included a stop for a quick lunch and Jessie helped to choose suitable dishes to share. She identified what was important for us to see of the remainder of the tour. All in all an amazing experience and cannot speak highly enough of Jessie, or our driver Jimmy!
