Richard is an amazing tour guide
Richard is an amazing tour guide. He spent his career working with horses and now shares all that knowledge with us. He is very attentive to the needs of the passengers, provides opportunity to interact with the horses, and shares helpful tips on what to do and what not to do. His calm demeanor and steady voice only accentuate his excellent storytelling.

Peppermints and Horses - who knew?
Wonderful experience with such great information about horses and Lexington. It was such fun to get close to the horses and feed them peppermints. Loved going to the Dalton property where the horse sanctuary is located. One suggestion for the future - the driver that is talking needs a microphone. We were at the back of the van and could not hear very well.

Fun Girls’ Night Activity!
I did this tour with my mom, 2 aunts & 2 cousins as a fun girls’ night activity, & we had a great time! I learned so much about the history of Covington & loved taking in some of the architecture that I’d never seen before (I’ve lived in Northern Kentucky my entire life!). Chris, our tour guide, did a fantastic job & was a wonderful storyteller. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fun activity with friends & family!

A must do food tour with Elena !
Wonderful food tour with Elena!! We had five stops of all different kinds of food. Make sure you don’t eat beforehand….there’s lots of great food to taste. Elena was extremely fun and engaging and gave fantastic information about our food stops, Lexington and historical information on Kentucky, its horse farms and whiskey distilleries!! Highly recommend this food tour, my daughters and I loved it!!

If your brain wants to automatically add either “derby” or “bourbon” after the word “Kentucky,” that’s understandable—the state is rightly famous for both. As such, there are dozens of Kentucky tours to horse farms so you can see the sleek thoroughbreds up close. You can also traverse the bourbon trail on tours that stop at some of Kentucky’s most famous distilleries. Other options include guided walks through historic Louisville, visits to the National Corvette Museum, or food-focused walks through Lexington.
