Fantastic Time with Lin!
We had such a great time on the tour with Lin. She was extremely knowledgeable and perfectly struck the balance between giving information but not overloading us. She was also very conscious of the heat and moving things along so no one was struggling in the heat. I would highly recommend you try and get Lin for this tour if possible.

10/10 recommend this unique experience.
I did the Hoi An Full Lantern Making Class, and it was such a fun experience. Our instructors, Huy and his brothers and sisters, were all incredibly lovely, patient, and helpful. Huy especially was amazing, I’m definitely not the crafty type, but he made the whole process enjoyable and helped me every step of the way. They taught us about the history of lanterns, which was was fascinating, and creating our own lantern was such a unique experience. We got to choose our own design and were taught how to assemble the lantern, as well as how to properly collapse and reopen it without damaging it. Plus, the playlist was absolutely banger. 10/10 I highly recommend this class!

Great experience and value! Definitely recommend!
Tony was an excellent tour guide! As many other reviewers have pointed out, going for the earliest tour is without doubt the best option to beat the heat and the crowds. Transport was smooth, breakfast was good, and the boat ride back to Hoi An was peaceful. The ruins themselves are impressive, and it was fascinating learning about the Cham people and their history. The short traditional dance was a huge bonus at the end of the tour!

Wonderful excursion into the local food of Hoi An
We took the food tour with Swan, it was a great experience. Swan was very engaging and at the outset created a congenial atmosphere for all members of the tour. She combined visits to sites where some of the raw sources of food were derived (noodle makers, sprout producers), and then to various restaurants/foodcarts/vendors where the actual foods were prepared and consumed. The tour took us to places we would have never found on our own and gave us a greater connection to the lives, livelihoods and food of regular Vietnamese. It was a delicious and delightful experience.

Excellent tour, Hannah...
Excellent tour, Hannah was our guide. Very good English, knowledgable, checked in on various walking options which was important for me with my 70yr old mum and 5yo daughter. Regular water stops. Jeep tour was fantastic and very fun, safe driver, no seatbelts on back seat however. Saw monkeys +++. Lunch at end was yummy, and sooo much of it. Only negative was being taken to a marble shop. Interesting for brief look but felt pressurised by shop staff, following us, asking us what we wanted to buy, not taking no/not interested. Would recommend skipping this stop

Good morning tour
Very interesting day out on the morning half day tour to My Son. Our guide Dung was very friendly, informative and took care of our group. The included lunch was simple but nice. My son sanctuary area gets very hot so make sure you prepare. We had fans with us that we were grateful for. We found the half day option enough as we are not super passionate about ruins.

A Hidden Gem Tour You Shouldn’t Miss
We had an incredible experience on the Hoi An Hidden Gems in Rural Villages & River Islands Private Tour. This tour is truly something special, as it takes you far away from the typical tourist spots and lets you experience the real local life.
We visited small villages, met local families, and even had the chance to try traditional activities like making rice paper and learning about local crafts. Everything felt authentic and personal, not rushed or commercial at all.
What made the experience unforgettable was our guide, Trang. She was absolutely fantastic — incredibly knowledgeable, always attentive, and genuinely kind. She explained everything in a very engaging way and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Her passion for her culture really shines through, and her friendliness made the whole tour feel like spending time with a friend rather than just a guide.
The entire tour was perfectly organized, flexible, and full of unique moments that we will always remember.
Highly recommended if you want to discover the authentic side of Hoi An. And if you’re lucky enough to have Trang as your guide, you’re guaranteed an amazing experience!

Cook like the locals.
Guided tour through a market to get ingredients before using them to cook a fabulous 4 course lunch. Hi Hai, our chef/guide, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time.
The detour to the coconut boats was a bit of a tourist trap but loads of fun and a great experience on our holiday.

Tasty Food, Great Guide, Top Experience!
This was so much fun! A great way to taste the specialities of Hoi An while meandering the streets and alleyways. Our guide was fantastic, the food delicious and plentiful and ending with the lantern boat ride was the cherry on the top. Highly recommend this tour

Kind but firm guide.
Ella was great. Soft spoken but firm so people will listen and follow instructions. Very important to me as a traveler that other people be on time for they wouldn’t inconvenience fellow travelers and Ella made that happen. And of course, tour itself was great and we felt safe with the great driver.

Genuine Cooking
Buzzing thru the food market then riding along rice paddies on a motorbike to a serene waterway sets the scene for this wonderfully authentic experience. Tam, a gifted chef is full of enthusiasm and hands on knowledge. He will make you feel comfortable and well looked after. Thank you Tam, you are a legend.

Walking street food tour
Tonight we had the wonderful opportunity to meet Catherine, who was our private tour guide with The Street Food Man. From the moment we started walking through the lively streets of Ho Chi Minh City, she made us feel like locals.
We visited five authentic local restaurants, tasting dish after dish of incredible Vietnamese food. Every bite was delicious, and although we ate far too much, it was nearly impossible to stop!
What made the evening truly memorable was Catherine herself. She entertained us with her deep knowledge of local customs, food culture, and Vietnamese life, all delivered with warmth and a great sense of humor. Walking the streets with her felt like being out with a friend who just happened to know everything about the city.
This was a fantastic experience — delicious food, great company, and insights you simply can’t get on your own. We would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh.
