What are people saying about Hoi An

So much fun 😆📸
My husband & I did the photoshoot together, & it was so much fun! It was a super super hot day, but our photographer made it really special! The pictures turned out great, and he took us throughout the beautiful old town of Hoi An. It wasn’t a guided tour, but we felt like we were able to be on a tour in a way.
We rented outfits beforehand and then went to our meeting point. Our photographer didn’t speak English, but that made it fun & we were still able to get our pictures done and they turned out great! He gave us bottled water and also went to a popular beverage spot and gave us a drink - so refreshing!
It was a great price and we got our money’s worth 🙌🏽!

Yum!
Cute authentic location in Hoi An fringes, good chef very entertaining and interactive, food was fun to make and delicious to eat. Pick up from centre Hoi A went well, all well organised. My only complaint, is that the Viator website said 4:30 pick up in most places, the small print mentioned 4:15 pick up, and the lady that got in touch to arrange details with us tried to make us accept a pick up at 4:10. Given we had plans before to fit in, this cause quite some stress. Please line up your timings Viator!!

Super fun and engaging coffee making class!
Such a fun experience and one of our favorite activities in Hoi An! You get to make and try 5 different types of Vietnamese coffee, and we had a great time throughout the whole class - lots of fun music and great vibes in the room.
Our instructors, including “Justin Bieber” and “Bruno Mars,” were awesome and brought the perfect energy. They kept things fun while also teaching us about the history of Vietnamese coffee and the ethical practices behind the business.
The team was also super accommodating to our dietary restrictions (my wife is gluten-free and vegetarian, and I am allergic to cashews and pistachios) and also ensured that non-dairy options were available as we created the different coffees. The facility was very clean and hygienic, with staff constantly bringing us new materials and ingredients for each recipe.
It’s a wonderful family-run business and was the perfect activity while we waited to pick up our clothes from the Cloth Market. Would absolutely recommend adding this to your Hoi An itinerary!

Must do when in Hoi An!
One of the (of probably the) most amazing experience we have had in Vietnam! From the early morning market to the boat trip to grandma’s kitchen on the river Island, everything was amazing. Thuum (Thom) and het family are fabulous hosts! Friendly, knowledgeable and of course great cooks (and instructors). We have learned a lot, had great fun doing karaoke on the boat and the meal was so tasty! Would definitely book again if I had the chance!

We had an amazing...
We had an amazing afternoon with Hai creating memories that will last a lifetime. He picked us up promptly and took us to a local food market, where he explained the various fruits and vegetables on display. This was followed by a fun ride on the basket boats in the Coconut Forest where we had a ride up the river, got to cast a fishing net with a local fisherman and caught crabs. Next, it was time to learn how to cook Vietnamese food. Hai was very thorough in his explanations and, with his support, we prepared four delicious meals. Everything ran like clockwork and we had a very enjoyable time learning about Vietnamese food and how local families live. Thanks Hai for a day to remember!

Great local spots and guide
We had THE BEST TIME with Tinh, he was an amazing guide not only to unique local spots but also was fun and interesting and told us all about local culture. We had four great cocktails at different unique local places which were also all delicious. Very great tour for anyone visiting Hoi An and I would highly recommend.

Great way to explore Hoi An!
It’s a great tour if you want to see ‘behind the scenes’ in Hoi An - experience the life and culture of the town and local food, and learn more about Vietnamese culture from the locals. The two small businesses we visited were very unexpected. We also tried a lot of great food. Really enjoyed this long walking tour with Swan and Thuy!

Amazing experience. Highly recommended!
YES CHEF! Tram was an amazing person to do this tour with, very lovely experience. I would highly recommend this tour, she is very enthusiastic, knowledgeable about the Vietnamese foods that we made and has many years of experience! Every dime spent on this tour is worth your time!!! Our day started off at the local markets where we picked out ingredients for the dishes we were going to cook down later the day, she told us the purpose and intention behind each ingredient, it was a very thrilling and educational experience. Next, we took a car ride and then visited her place & did the coconut boat ride. The ride was very fun, with friendly boat staff that took us around the river. We then went back, took a break and started our cooking class! The cooking class was very fun, engaging & Tram was very fun to communicate and talk with! At the end, we had the food we ate, along with some cheap paid drinks (beer/soft drinks). Overall a great experience, and would definitely come back to do something like this next time I am back in Vietnam.

Great experience to learn about Vietnamese cuisine. Vegetarian friendly.
Fantastic experience from start to end. Our chef teacher explained us the different methods and taught us how to prepare various types of traditional Vietnamese food. Would highly recommend. The market visit was also informative because we learner how various herbs are harvested and prepared. They also adjusted our menu to cater for vegetarian diet.

Hidden gems - delicious soups on side streets
Visiting Hoi An is not complete without riding a lantern Sampan boat down the Hoai River and releasing a paper lit candle to release worry and bad luck and make a wish for love and good health🥰🥰🥰❤️💕♥️ Our tour guide took us on side streets where hidden authentic Chinese and Vietnamese made delicious soups. The food was delicious although some of the broth ended up on my blouse😋🤪. No problem, I wore my shirt backward for the rest of our tour.

Unforgettable experience!!
Absolutely amazing experience! One of my favorite things I’ve done in Hoi An. The family who runs the business and teaches you are so kind and knowledgeable. They made us laugh the whole time and their expertise shows in every detail. Cannot recommend enough!!

I had an amazing time...
I had an amazing time from start to finish! The tour guide Bien is super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They kept the group smaller (<10 people) so it felt that we dont have to wait around too much. They even gave you a banh mi with the boat ride at the end. 10/10 would recommend! Dont forget to tip your bus driver, tour guide and boat driver.
