Ayoub was the best!

Ayoub made our visit to the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, our camel ride, and lunch at 9 Pyramids Lounge an unforgettable 5-star experience. He was attentive, informative, and incredibly thoughtful from start to finish. He reached out the evening before our trip to introduce himself and provide a detailed itinerary for the day, which made everything feel organized and stress-free. His driver, Mina, met us at our hotel on time, and once we arrived at the Giza complex, Ayoub was there ready to welcome us. That’s when the fun truly began! It was another magical day in Egypt. Ayoub shared great information, made sure we were comfortable, and helped create such a memorable experience. He is also an amazing photographer and captured beautiful moments for us throughout the day. I highly recommend Ayoub to anyone visiting the pyramids!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hussam from GEM Explore Egypt tour company was an absolutely outstanding tour guide and made our day unforgettable. He took my sisters and me to Saqqara and Memphis, where we saw the incredible Step, Bent, and Red Pyramids, along with the Sphinx in Memphis. His knowledge was impressive—he explained everything in a way that was both informative and genuinely engaging—and his sense of humor kept us laughing the entire time. What really stood out was how much he cared about our experience. Hussam made sure we were comfortable, having fun, and getting the most out of every stop. He also took amazing photos of us, capturing moments we’ll truly treasure for a lifetime. We chose to visit these pyramids before seeing the Great Pyramid, and it was the perfect decision—far less crowded and much easier to explore, which made the experience even more special. He also brought us to a restaurant with beautiful views of the pyramids, and the lunch was delicious. I also want to highlight our driver, who was extremely professional and a very safe, skilled driver. His car was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made traveling between sites smooth and relaxing. Fantastic Day Trip to El Fayoum & Wadi Rayan!

I highly recommend this private tour! Climbing Mudawara Mountain provided exceptional views, and boating while feeding the seagulls was such a fun, memorable experience. This was a completely new side of Egypt, which I never knew. Our guide, Youssef (Joe), was outstanding—incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and took great care of us throughout the day. Our driver, Ahmed, was also excellent and made the trip seamless. A perfect day of adventure and great company.

Ask for Mo to be Your Guide!!

We did the tour in the pyramids, along with a camel ride around the Pryamids, and lunch. Our tour guide was Mo. Mo speaks perfect English, Spanish, and Arabic. He is extremely knowledgeable about ancient Egypt as both of his parents are tour guides, so he grew up learning about it. Mo picked us up from our hotel, on time. During the drive to the pyramids, Mo gave us some background information on both Cairo and ancient Egypt. He broke down stories of kings and other important figures into sections. He would give little little bits of information at one site, then at the next site, where there was more supporting evidence, he would continue the story a bit further. This kept us engaged and wondering where it will go. We spent the day trying to figure out what the ending will be. The camel rides were the perfect length, as your legs will begin to chafe a bit. If you give a bit of a tip, you can ask the guy with the white horse and red mane to let you sit on the horse for a picture. It will get up on its hind legs and the pyramids will be in the background. Mo brought us to one of his favourite restaurants in Cairo, and the food was delicious. Ask for the Nutella pastry dessert. We had to get seconds. Mo brought us safely back to our hotel. Overall the tour would have been good, but Mo made it extra special. His knowledge and story telling skills are one of the best that we've ever experienced on a tour, and we would highly recommend him in to anyone.

A really good trip

The tour was really well organised. Basem (not sure I’ve spelled that right) was a knowledgeable young tour guide who we felt very comfortable with. He ensured we saw everything we wanted to see and at a good pace. If you have at least two days in Cairo I would recommend taking this tour to see the beginning of the pyramid building programme. Our driver was careful and we felt comfortable with him driving. We were happy with Basem as our tour guide and asked him to guide us for the rest of our time in Cairo.

We had an amazing experience with Al wazir which guided us through the beauties of GEM, picking us up and dropping us off directly from the hotel in Giza with a private and very clean car. With his deep knowledge and expertise of Egyptologist, he explained us all the most important pieces and answered all our questions and curiosities. Very appreciated that he didn’t rush us at all and we could explore the museum taking all the time we wanted. Very recommended!

An absolutely incredible tour, especially thanks to Mo. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough, particularly if you’re lucky enough to have Mo as your guide. He is hands down one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had, especially in Egypt. Mo is professional, charismatic, incredibly knowledgeable, and always one step ahead, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. He truly made our day unforgettable and we honestly wished we could have had him for all of our tours in Egypt. We were beyond impressed. Mo is an absolute legend! The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. The van was spotless and comfortable with a very professional driver, and the food was delicious. Everything was perfectly organised, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the experience.

Excellent Nile Cruise

We opted for the sunset cruise and had such a sweet experience. Ayman took excellent care of us throughout the evening and made everything feel very special. The food was delicious, and we loved ending the cruise with endless cups of tea while enjoying the peaceful views of the Nile. The setup was intimate and thoughtfully arranged. We also booked a photographer, which was completely worth it — the photos were stunning and gave us memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime. Highly recommended for anyone celebrating a special occasion or looking for a magical experience on the Nile.

Great experience - with pickup and drop from my hotel

This is a wonderful tour. This tour provides a great personalized experience. Khalefa is an amazing guide and provides a comprehensive experience that dives deep into the history and culture of the tour destinations. Khalefa also recommended great additional stops and does not pressure you into anything. He was also very instrumental in helping me relocate my scarf during the tour of the Sphinx. 10/10

Talaat our king!

Talaat our king! Extremely personable tour guide, was a fantastic experience overall. Very knowledgeable and organized everything so all we had to do was enjoy and bear the heat. Sailing was more like 2 days but the accommodations are 4 days. Food is fantastic pool was a huge bonus. Lots of canopy cover on the upper level

The trip was fantastic! We were picked up right at our doorstep by a very friendly driver and guide, in an air conditioned van. Throughout the day, Deen our lovely guide, answered our questions and provided us with a world of knowledge on the pyramids, the sphinx, how papyrus paper was made and many, many artefacts in the museum. Before the museum we had a lovely lunch at a quiet restaurant that made fresh and delicious dishes. This is a child friendly tour - I had my two small kids with me aged 5 & 8 years old, who had a blast.
