What are people saying about Jungfrau

Worth every penny or cent
Covers a wide range of railways, cable cars and even lake cruises from Interlaken. We used it every day. Doesn’t cover Jungfraujoch or Schilthorn which incur extra charges.

Seems expensive but it is worth it
Getting the Jungfrau Travel Pass is well worth it if you are staying in the area. We travelled on buses, mountain trains and cable cars. Note that it gives you discount on the Schilthorn cable car and Jubgfraujoch but doesn't cover it.

Breathtaking views!
Gabriel gave great instructions on how to access the gondola and train as well as what to expect up on top. The time spent in Interlaken after Jungfrau was nice. We could watch the paragliders land right in the park. We could have used more restroom breaks.

It was great fun! Tou...
It was great fun! Tou can’t predict the weather and it snowed at the top and we couldn’t see much. Wasn’t tour operators fault.

Lauterbrunnen
Panorama of the Bernese Alps with the peaks of Jungfrau, Lauterbrunnen.
  • Jungfrau is covered with ice and snow nearly year-round, even in summer; wear a windproof jacket and bring gloves, a hat, and a scarf.

  • Stay hydrated to avoid altitude sickness at the sky-high station.

  • Book train tickets in advance as they frequently sell out; Jungfrau Travel Pass holders can ride the cog railway for free.

  • The cog railway and the Jungfraujoch are accessible to wheelchair users.
