Stewart was a great...
Stewart was a great guide. He was funny, knowledgeable and clearly loved his country. His enjoyment spread to all of us. And what a beautiful place, especially since the weather cleared about noon and the rest of the day had sun and blue skies. The sights are spectacular. This was well worth the time.

Add this tour to your list!
Wonderful way to see more of Scotland from Edinburgh. Jaime, our narrator and driver, did a great job of giving us the history of each location along with tidbits of fun facts too. Even on a rainy day, the Kellpie’s were amazing, we enjoyed relaxing on the Loch Lomond boat ride and the Stirling Castle experience was stunning with so much history. We recommend this tour to see Scotland’s countryside, exceptional structures and even more history!

Mark, our tour guide was an absolute delight! Very friendly and thorough with all the details. He was very informative and gave us a lot of background knowledge of all the places we visited and saw, which made the whole experience immersive and we weren’t bored for even a second! I actually woke up from a nap to listen to what he was telling us. He’s got a great playlist as well!

This was such a great...
This was such a great tour. Yes it is a long day, but it is worth it! Don't worry, you will have plenty of comfort breaks and photo opportunities. This is the perfect way to see what Scotland is like outside of the big cities. The views are incredible! Our tour guide Terrie and our driver Mike made the day fun and informative!

Fabulous day chasing after Jamie
Our guide Sean G was amazing! Not only did he provide a lot of insight to our Outlander stops, he gave so much more about Scotland. It really enhanced our trip well beyond the tour itself.
Everything about the tour was exactly as advertised, and the stop for lunch was lovely. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Sean.

James was a great...
James was a great driver/tour guide. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, but he was also quite funny, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Not only did he take us to the expected places, but since our group was very timely with getting back to the bus, he made a few extra stops along the way for photo opportunities.

Fantastic trip to Isle of Skye
Sonia was a fantastic guide. She had the right mix of humor, storytelling and history. The beautiful scenery speaks for itself but she added her gift for storytelling which made the whole experience that much better. If I could change one thing it would be to have fewer stops but stay longer at a few like Portree and Eilean Donan Castle.

It's 100% worth it! Every landscape is fantastic and the trip is scheduled pretty well.
Also driver Sam was very kind, helpful and funny. He kept us a great company during the long bus drive and he was a fantastic tour guide. We learned so many things!

Wonderful Highland Tour from Inverness
If you are looking for a train to be part of the tour, that didn't happen due to a last-minute change from the railroad operators. HOWEVER, our tour guide, Louise, was fantastic and safely drove us around the Highlands to visit some beautiful places, and we saw everything that we would have seen on the train (which I have experienced before). She was a beast at handling the bus on those "wiggly-squiggly" roads (as she described them), and I was happy to take a break from driving on the left side of the road and let her navigate us. As a native Scot, she told us many wonderful tales of Highland traditions along the way. She even quoted poetry! I always felt safe while she was driving, and she was professional and lots of fun.

Do it!
It's a long day, but worth it. There was some confusion checking in ticket holders and putting them on the correct bus. The vans are comfortable and easy to get in and out. There were plenty of stops for photos. The narration, stories, and music were informative and entertaining. We enjoyed the day. The Scottish countryside is beautiful. Fish & Chips in Portree was the best we had on this trip.

Wonderful tour checking out a number of spots around Inverness
Had an absolutely incredible time. Emily was an excellent tour guide: super knowledgeable, really funny, and paced the tour super well. We went to a great variety of places in the Highlands around Inverness, all really beautiful or thought-provoking or just a fun time. Especially enjoyed our bonus mini stop seeing the hairy coo!

So much in one day!!
So many castles…this was such a great tour for historians and Outlander fans alike! Saw some of our favorites from the show! Linda was AMAZING as she was just the right balance of knowledge and humor, and also allowed some quiet time on the bus. One suggestion - all the castles require extra payment to get in so it makes it more difficult at each location. Make it an ‘all inclusive’ tour and just include the tickets in the initial purchase.
