Tour was great! Roy was an outstanding guide. His knowledge of the forest and wildlife was very impressive. Thanks to Roy, we were able to see a wide variety of wildlife. What stood out was seeing an Emerald Toucanet! He was enthusiastic and always happy to answer questions. The could forest itself is stunning, but having Roy as our guide made it much better.

Great experience!!...
Great experience!! Parking and shuttle at the park was easy, remember to buy tickets to the park ahead of time because it is not included in the tour. We did the heart of the forest loop, tour ended up just being my partner and me, and it was beautiful! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the forest, plants, and animals!

So much fun and a great learning experience, too!
We loved this tour and our tour guide Rolo was both super knowledgeable and also funny! We learned so much about the making of chocolate, coffee, and sugar cane and even got to participate in making some lemonade with fresh sugar cane. Outstanding tour and well worth it!

Bird watching deluxe!
We did the Cloud Forest Emerald route and had an amazing time! I highly recommend going with a guide or you won’t see most of the amazing creatures, especially the birds. Our guide, Dennis knew all the sounds and could track them down with an amazing sighting of a resplendent quetzal!

Relaxed and Fun!
Milk a cow, feed a calf, learn about their farm and how they are working on switching to organic products. Then watch and assist while they make cheese, make your own tortilla and then eat your products. A truly great experience. Our children (4 and 6) had a wonderful time, and so did my husband and I. Thank you!

Book this activity!!! Worth EVERY PENNY! Hope you get Victorian as a guide he was so knowledgeable and does so much for the conservation of Costa Rica. Such a beautiful hike with many waterfalls to see. The lunch at the end was delicious with spectacular panoramic views!

This night tour was our...
This night tour was our favorite part of our trip to Costa Rica. We had an excellent, funny, patient, and knowledgeable tour guide Dani. He took us through the reserve at night and could spot incredible animals with ease. It was even more fun because we were all involved "hunting" for the animals at night with our flashlights (which he provided). We saw everything I could have hoped for and it was an absolute blast. I could not recommend this more.

The guided rainforest...
The guided rainforest night hike was honestly one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. Being in the rainforest after dark was both exciting and a little surreal, and we saw so much wildlife! I was able to spot a viper, multiple snakes, toucans, scorpions and even tarantulas, which was incredible.
Our guides made the whole experience even better. They were extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly where to look to find these animals, and they kept everyone engaged the entire time with interesting facts and stories. You can tell they’re really passionate about what they do.
If you’re even thinking about doing a night hike, I highly recommend it—it’s such a unique way to experience the rainforest!

A must do activity in...
A must do activity in Monteverde! The ziplines were so fun and my hesitant older sister was so glad I convinced her to come! You walk the bridges independently so you can spend the time you need. EVERY guide, platform attendant or reception employee were professional, friendly and helpful. Ate lunch in the restaurant - also very good. There are separate butterfly and sloth experiences in this park - if we’d booked the morning tour would have had time for these (separate charge) experiences. Note that even the zipline experience requires lots of walking, mostly uphill👍

Super fun adventure!
Wear closed toe shoes. Parking lot is very safe. Leave everything in the car that you possibly can. (Don’t even wear bobby-pins in hair). Don’t carry water or much at all. $50 Go-Pro is so with the videos! There is quite a bit of walking uphill so take breaks if needed.

Amazing experience. We learned how coffee is harvested and roasted. We also learned how to make chocolate with lots of sampling. Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable. The night walk was an excellent way to end the experience. We saw a birds and frogs! A beautiful place for a walk.

LOVED everything about...
LOVED everything about this experience! Very fun, stunning views on the forest, and some of the ziplines were literally through a cloud. I'm not an adrenaline junkie and the superman and the tarzan swing looked really scary to do, but they were actually really fun! Definitely wear long trousers, as for the top it can get chilly while you wait but there also some steep paths to walk which can make you sweat a lot. The crew was always very attentive.
