All Mongolia Tours & Excursions in 2026

In late September, there was only one participant, perhaps because it was the off-season. So, along the way, I talked with Orji, who was both my guide and driver, about various things in Mongolia (in English pronunciation that is easy for Japanese people to understand). Considering it was my first time horseback riding, I was proposed a round trip to Turtle Rock in one hour, but the rider recommended a trekking ride to the wolf statue on the summit of Olegil Hill for a two-hour round trip, so I went with that. It was really... good! Basically, it leads the way, so the horse moves slowly, and it was novel to know that it also farts once every few minutes. The view from the summit is exceptionally scenic. About a kilometer on the way home, the thrill of being one-on-one with my horse without a lead, though I'm sure it's safe since we're trained. For lunch, we had grilled chicken and mashed potatoes at the lodge that lent us the riding gear and helmets. This was delicious too. At a time when Mongolia is also having a hard time due to gasoline shortages, on the way back, I headed to Ulaanbaatar while looking for a gas station with stock. Personally, I was interested in hearing and seeing that kind of situation, so it was interesting (^o^). Before the gasoline arrived, perhaps because Oruji felt bad, they dropped him off relatively close to the hotel. By the way, the driving was so careful that I dozed off in the car because I was full and a little tired! Impressions of horseback riding? My tailbone started hurting around night, but it was gone by the next night!

This is the second time I've participated in this tour, following last year, and since I had such a wonderful experience last time, I decided to book it again this time. Although it was a different driver than last time, Mr. Kaze was a kind, polite, and wonderful person. I am convinced that this tour company is trustworthy.

I really enjoyed the Mongolian cousine cooking class with Bee and Sor. Their gher is a welcoming, positive, and full of energy athmosphere. It was just about the cooking class, also, I learned alot about Mongolian history and culture. Thank you for the surprize gifts, they have a special place in my heart.

This was a simple yet personally profound tour for me and my friend. It is basically just being driven around and given times to return to the vehicle, which is perfect without all the talking non-stop that some tours in other countries have! I recommend this if you want to do your own thing, but also remember to take snacks as the drive takes several hours during the day.

The driver was very friendly and helpful. The itinerary was perfectly timed to visit the main spots before the crowds arrived. At the Genghis Khan Statue Complex, the driver also shared a lot of interesting details with us. On top of that, they were really flexible when we asked to change our drop-off location. Note: There was a total of four participants, including the two of us. After picking us up first, the driver proceeded to the remaining two guests' accommodation. Taking a photo with the eagle was an optional add-on for 10,000 Tugrik.

The detailed information and communication from Sara of UB Shuttle was exceptional regarding our airport pick-up and hotel drop-off. Our driver Enkchimeg Ts was very nice and helpful meeting us upon arrival outside baggage with my name on a tablet and taking us to our hotel.

It was a great day to learn about the city. Brian was on time and perfectly prepared with the day's schedule. I could adjust the schedule to my preference. This flexibility is always very handy. Brian is very knowledgeable and dedicated to his clients. The lunch visit to the Modern Nomads restaurant was a great surprise. The whole day was very packed but manageable. WhatsApp is very useful for communication. I will highly recommend this tour to learn about Ulaanbaatar.

This was a great hiking experience. I was picked up on time and had a smooth ride. The English was great from the guide. She kept a good pace for the hike and was a joy to be around. She never rushed once we made it to the peak and setup a great special lunch. I highly recommend this experience when in Mongolia.
