A beautiful walk with amazing views of the frozen waterfalls! Our guide, Natalie, was excellent from start to finish. He went to pick us up at Airbnb, explained all the logistics and shared interesting facts about Finland and the region. Teached us elf showers, we ate santa's beard and still made us lunch always with good disposition! I highly recommend!

A Bucket List Highlight: Ask for Esko at Tokka Safaris!

We are so glad we chose Tokka Snowmobile Safaris for our bucket list trip! Even with the late-winter slushy snow, our guide, Esko, turned a fun outing into a truly great tour. He was incredibly attentive, patient, and informative throughout the ride. The 3-hour duration was perfect—long enough to reach stunning viewpoints and enjoy some faster stretches over the frozen lake. The route through the coniferous forests is beautiful, and the break at the reindeer farm for hot drinks and warm donuts (indoors with a WC!) was a highlight. A huge bonus: Esko took amazing photos and videos of us. His video work was so steady it looked like he was using a gimbal, even on the bumpy terrain! With a small group of just four snowmobiles, the experience felt very personal. We’ll definitely book with Esko again when we return!

Organization...

Fantastic organization, you can see that the guys know what they are doing, in our case to avoid the clouds they took us all the way to Sweden, then moving us to a new spot after the first one had become crowded. Our guide made himself available to take all the photos we wanted and gave us explanations about the aurora also answering the various questions. He offered us hot juice and biscuits and returning we stopped near Rovaniemi because the sky had cleared giving us the opportunity to admire the aurora again and take more pictures. Very quick even in the delivery of the same, they arrived the next day along with some time-lapse videos. Really recommended, obviously as in our case good forecast for the aurora permitting. Thank you very much for allowing us to live this unforgettable experience!

Because of the abnormal heat...

Due to the abnormal heat that began to melt the snow early it was not possible to carry out the activity in Rovaniemi, the staff guys, however, very kind instead of canceling the activity (as happened in those days for other similar experiences) took us further north, about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi, where they had created a new track to cope with this unexpected, all without extra expense. Super recommended experience, the track was long and we had the chance to change drivers midway through. Very nice guide, kind and prepared.

We knew that we would have a good snowmobile experience with our 9 and 7 year old daughters hiring Snowride Lapland because we were looking for a lot and we knew that they were Spaniards who attended very exclusively (small groups) and with a heated capsule for the children, quite exclusive. Booking and contracting with Jordi was very easy, helping in everything and advising with doubts, distances, offering transfer to the accommodation... But reality FAR EXCEEDED expectations. It was just us, my wife and I on a motorbike (we took turns driving) and the girls in a capsule towed by the monitor's motorbike. Nacho is a past, passionate about his profession, given with our daughters, who keep a great memory of him, took us through lakes and forests of tales, with great sympathy and closeness. It was a great experience! To our luck, it was very sunny so the reindeer ride was extra enjoyable. All the family members of the farm and all the rest of the employees were very sweet and helpful. We had a very unforgettable evening and the tour guide Ramus is passionate about travel very professional! Last night early in the morning informed us because the day is not yet dark so delayed departure, in the highway to see the full of the sky are super light dancing, he resolutely decided to park the car in the side of the road escape....we watched the life's most brilliant super light performance....different super light different colors flying dancing illusioned to rainbow, corridor, each other, shock to watch! The other buses followed us to stop, but soon left. Ramus used his professional knowledge to suggest that we stayed here for a while, and as a result we saw the most beautiful spectacle in our lives. The magic of meeting reindeer!

I participated in this activity with my 7-year-old daughter. Very welcome to Beyond Arctic agency and great local guide (Emilia). It is about 40 min drive from Rovaniemi to Rennes farm. The place is very beautiful and the sleigh ride is peaceful and pleasant. We can feed the reindeer and spend time with them. Under a kota and after enjoying pancake and hot drink, the host gives us a lot of information about his breeding and reindeer. We did two activities with Beyond Arctic and I really recommend the agency for its professionalism, the quality of its guides (local for our two outings) and the kindness of its team.

Perfect, seamless, professional experience

We had an incredible experience booking our Husky Tour. We had transport directly from our Airbnb to the kennel - Soulmate Kennels - near the Finnish border. The driver was friendly and talkative. The kennel itself was amazing. The dogs looked healthy and the scenery - oh, my, god. Endless taiga forests covered in snow and blue sky above with sunshine peeking through. The husky slushing itself is hard work - I much preferred being in the sleigh! The transport back was flexible and the driver was willing to drop us at Santa’s Village, despite this not expressly being included in the booking. We HIGHLY recommend this tour company.

Highlight of my trip!

Loved this excursion! The meeting spot was easy to find. Our driver/guide was friendly and helpful. The reindeer park was very authentic and our guide there was genuine and experienced. The husky ride was a bit commercial but was such a cool experience regardless. The whole tour just the right amount of time, and not too strenuous. It was a small group size (there were 5 of us) so it felt more personal.
