Comprehensive full day tour at very reasonable price!!
Best introduction to Istanbul - Day 1! Ayden was so knowledgeable as a born and raised local, and so helpful with language barrier! Excellent walking tour of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, and Hippodrome. Picksd a great restaurant for lunch and pick-up snacks along the way, and help navigate purchases at the bazaar from reputable vendors! Highly recommend this full day private tour at a very fair price. Our family of 4 with 16yo twins all enjoyed!

Wonderful guide!
This tour was amazing! Mustafa met us at the port and shared so much history with us. He tailored the tour to our wants and made it a special day! We would not have known what to do in this extremely large city! He knew the routes and sites and his suggestions were perfect! I highly recommend this tour. Using the local transportation and walking was the way to go to see everything we wanted to see. Or stop at a rooftop restaurant was a highlight.

Şule is everything you...
Şule is everything you could ever want in a local guide. If you show up solo, just know you’re leaving with at least one new friend from Istanbul. The tour gives you a look at some authentic and local stops I wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. I had such a lovely time and ate some really great food. I feel like I blinked and the tour was over! Thank you Şule for showing how special and magical Istanbul can be!

Well organised with excellent, informative guide.
This one full day trip to the Gallipoli peninsula is very comfortable and we were back in Istanbul by 9:30. Mercedes Sprinter 15 seater vans were very comfortable The lunch was basic and tasty. The organisation and coordination of the various trips by CrowdedHouseTours was brilliant. The guide was very good and knew his stuff.

Istanbul Adventures with Ezgi
We had a great time with Ezgi in Istanbul! Her knowledge about the history and architecture of the various places we visited was impressive and made the excursion all the more enjoyable. She was able to steer us away from some of the more obvious tourist traps and used her experience and connections with some of the local vendors to get us into places faster and easier. She was even willing to indulge us by waiting in a lengthy (but fast moving) line to see the Blue Mosque.
I’ll never forget her quick thinking when we started getting hounded by all the rug merchants in the Grand Bazaar. I had just purchased a rug from a trusted vendor outside the market and the bag they gave me made it obvious to all the other vendors at the Bazaar that I had just bought one. They were eager to help me buy more when Ezgi had the brilliant idea to put the bag inside another one to disguise it.
She also made an excellent suggestion for lunch at Rumeli Kebab & Steak House. Not only was the food delicious but the waitstaff were funny and engaging. Highly recommended Ezgi for your future Istanbul tours and Rumeli for the food and atmosphere.

Extremely knowledgeable guide
The half day tour was just enough for us. Baris our guide was extremely knowledgeable the tour did run over time and sadly we had to leave due to other commitments. There was great communication beforehand about the extra costs and dress code for ladies at the mosque and meeting place.

The best experience with the best guide!
We had the best guide ever, for our 2 day tour of Istanbul. Kenan was the ultimate guide for our private tour. Professional, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. I would love to do another tour with him.
Be prepared for a lot of walking. We did over 20000 steps the first day. A hat, or umbrella, comfortable footwear, sunscreen, and water are a must. We were there in late April, and it was quite warm.

Reliable & great service
We are more than satisfied with the service from "Bellaturca Travel". When I booked the tour through Viator, I picked this itinerary based on the service they offer, the reviews from others. And the price seemed fair. Now our trip is done and I can say their service is above and beyond. Their attention to details and how seamless the whole trip went surprise me. From them booking the domestic flights, hotel pick-up (in Mercedes van for just the two of us. Someone is always available to communicate with me even at 3:45am) in Istanbul to the airport, to someone greeted us in Kaysari (the airport near Cappadocia) drove us to Cappadocia, then with the driver and guide meeting us at Cappadocia. The quality and service of the guide and driver, the cave hotel (include great breakfast) they picked for us is above expectation. Mind you, we just got off Viking cruise from Athens to Istanbul and plus Viking's Istanbul extension. We are used to the great service Viking provides. What Bellaturca provided was full of pleasant surprises. In short, if you are looking for a tour from Istanbul to Cappadocia, they are the one to use. They know what they are doing and they take care of all the details. It makes the trip so much easier and we can just focus on enjoy everything Cappadcia has to offer. I also booked my hot airballoon ride through them. And they picked a great one with great service, most of all very experienced pilot. We plan on returning to Cappadocia and spend more time in the future and I'll certainly use them again and have them design a more personalized itinerary for us. Huge thank you to Mustafa and Serkan for your great service and attention to details.

An Outstanding Guided Tour
My guide, Muzaffer, was incredibly resourceful and kind. He made me feel genuinely welcome in Turkey and led a wonderful tour, sharing thoughtful historical insights about each place we visited. Throughout the day, he was flexible, patient, and very attentive to ensuring a great experience. Among all my days in Istanbul, the day I spent touring with him was the one I enjoyed the most. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and warm guide. 😊

A delightful informative experience!
Ali was an AMAZING guide. We never felt rushed and he tailored the tour based on what we were most interested in. He is a wealth of information and a joy to be around. We learned so much about the country of Turkey in general, in addition to the sites we visited. I highly recommend him and this tour.

We loved this private tour with Eylem
Our private walking tour in Istanbul in June, 2025, with Eylem was hands down one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment she met us right outside the cruise port, we knew we were in great hands. She was warm, organized, and immediately made us feel like we were exploring the city with a close friend rather than just a guide.
Eylem thoughtfully planned the perfect route, taking us to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Mosque, the Underground Basilica Cistern, the Grand Bazaar, and several other incredible sites — all in an order that helped us avoid the biggest crowds. That alone made such a difference in our experience. Pro tip: make sure to bring a cover-up to enter the mosques — Eylem helped guide us through the etiquette and made everything seamless.
What really stood out was how she brought Istanbul’s rich history to life. As we explored, she wove together stories of the Byzantine, Roman, and Ottoman Empires in a way that was engaging, easy to follow, and fascinating. We didn’t just see the sights — we understood them.
She also expertly navigated the city using a combination of walking and the metro, which let us cover more ground comfortably and efficiently. Along the way, she treated us to food and water from local street vendors (such a thoughtful touch!) and later took us to a wonderful restaurant with a huge selection of absolutely delicious food (at our own expense). It felt like we were getting the true local experience.
Eylem was happy to take photos and videos and knew all the good angles for getting great pics and memories.
By the end of the day, Eylem didn’t feel like just our tour guide — she felt like a sister from another mister. Her kindness, knowledge, and genuine care made our day in Istanbul unforgettable. If you’re visiting and want an experience that’s insightful, smooth, and full of heart, book with Eylem. You won’t regret it!
