I love the water, and I knew that I would enjoy this outing, but I think this was the highlight of my family's trip. The crew really go out of their way to take care of you, and to make sure that you have a good time. They provide a fresh breakfast with juice and coffee, they cook a lunch on the boat that was some of the best food we had during our entire trip, and a dessert that I heard was delicious...but I missed it because I was enjoying those aqua blue waters to my heart's content (no regrets). I have never in my life experienced beaches this beautiful, and the history of Gramvousa Island is fascinating. All of these things, combined with plenty of wine/beer, and a wonderful group of people from so many different places...it was the perfect way to spend a day! I hope to do it again. Please, if you even think you might have motion sickness...put a patch on or take your medicine ahead of time. My son was sick on the way out to the beach, but he recovered fairly quickly. The crew was great at giving him tips on how to get through it, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I had hesitated to book due to the cost, but we felt our experience couldn't have been a more complete professional package that was worth every penny. The 25 metre catamaran was only launched this year, the crew were super friendly, professional and helpful, the itinerary was comprehensive with plenty of down time to swim, snorkel, paddle board, be shuttled ashore, or simply relax aboard the luxurious boat with comfy sun lounges. There was complimentary drinks all day ( tea, coffee, wine, beer, soft drink and water.) The food was plentiful all day, and of outstanding quality. We were lucky enough to have calm seas and brilliant sunshine that complimented a truly memorable day that we cannot recommend highly enough.

A great day out. Enjoyed the whole trip including the drives between stop off points. Good chance to see a bit more of Crete. Lunch was good. Our guide, George was great and it was lovely to be in a small group, especially for the boat trip to Spinalonga.

Highlight of Our Trip to Crete! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an awesome day out on the water! This boat trip was such a hit with both us parents and our teenagers – which honestly says it all. The 11.5m boat was super comfy and gave us plenty of space to chill, jump in for a swim, and just enjoy the ride. The absolute star of the day though was our skipper. He was so friendly, easy-going, and fun to be around, while also making us feel 100% safe the whole time. He really knew his stuff and shared great insights, but at the same time made it feel like we were out with a good friend. We all agreed this was one of the best things we did in Crete – definitely a must-do if you want an unforgettable experience on the sea!

Chania Diving was awesome! They were in constant communication regarding our pick up time and location even when we tendered to the old port instead of the new port. Basal (sp?) picked us up on time, took us to the dock and ended up being our instructor / dive master. He was clear, patient, and reassuring. They had all of the right size equipment for smaller women. They took us through everything step by step. And they were right with us in the water for everything. We could not have asked for a better first dive experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! We were visiting for one day on the cruise ship and appreciated being picked up directly at the port. Salty Decents really impressed us- everyone was so friendly and professional! We appreciated the wet suits to keep warm since the water was a bit chilly. Our daughters, ages 11 and 9, cite this as a highlight of our trip. We felt very safe taking this excursion as a family and I highly recommend. Thank you!

This experience is amazing for those who are interested in spending quality time at some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This is a super efficient way to get to Balos and Gramvousa beaches. If your goal is to have a long and leisurely luxury sailing trip, this is not for you. However, if your goal is to spend the time on the sand and natural beauty of Crete, I strongly recommend this experience. They are a well organized small group that gets you to the beaches in 20 minutes time. Parking is plentiful and it is not crowded at all. Everyone from the base to the boat was super professional and friendly. This tour may not be for everyone, but it certainly was amazing for what we were looking for!

Amazing experience that we’ll remember for years. The crew was absolutely fantastic and the tour was so much better than what I expected. The crew was quick to see to our comfort while ensuring everyone’s safety. They were generous with the food and drinks and did everything thing in their power to make sure everyone had the best experience possible. They were even able to coax smiles out of my cranky teenagers which is no easy task. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
