Those walking boots will get a good workout during this hike through the Samaria Gorge. This 16km-long ravine is the longest in Europe. So it's a serious – but spectacular – five to six-hour trek that's not for the unfit or faint-hearted. You'll start by driving through the White Mountains to your starting point – the Xyloskalo staircase, which zigzags some 200 meters down into the gorge. You'll pass tiny chapels, walk between the high ravine walls and maybe spot some of Crete's wild ‘kri-kri' goats. The highlight though, is the ‘Iron Gates' – the narrowest section of the gorge where the 300-metre-high walls stand just 3 meters apart. At the end, you'll reach the seaside village of Agia Roumeli, where if you've made good time, you can take a swim or relax in a taverna. Then, when everyone's ready, you'll catch a boat along the coast to where your coach awaits. Great for outdoor types.

Santorini is often described as a “must‑visit destination” because there is truly nowhere else in the world quite like it. This jewel of the Aegean is made up of five islands – Thíra, Thirassiá, Asproníssi, Palea and Nea Kaméni – together forming one of the most remarkable volcanic landscapes on Earth. The archipelago is part of an active volcanic system whose submerged crater shapes the island’s dramatic caldera. This extraordinary geological backdrop, combined with the iconic white‑washed buildings set against the deep blue sea and sky, creates the striking contrast that makes Santorini instantly recognizable and utterly unforgettable. TOUR HIGHLIGHTS Caldera: Santorini’s caldera was formed by one of the most powerful volcanic eruptions in history. Oia Village: Oia is the most picturesque village in Santorini. Volcanic beaches: Discover Santorini’s seaside treasures and enjoy deep blue waters and beaches with white, red or black sand or volcanic pebbles.

What makes this tour unique is the sequence. It’s not random stops on a map—it’s a gradual transition from north to south, from cultivated land to raw coastline, from movement to stillness. You don’t just visit the Libyan Sea; you earn it, descending through Kourtaliotiko Gorge before reaching the palms and river-meets-sea landscape of Preveli Beach. It also balances contrast with precision: the openness of Preveli, the enclosed clarity of Kalypso Beach, and the grounded simplicity of lunch in Plakias. Small group size keeps the rhythm controlled—no waiting for crowds, no overpacked timing. It’s structured, but it breathes. That’s rare.

This experience stands apart because it doesn’t rush you through staged “highlights” - it lets you live a day the way Cretan families have always shared it: slowly, honestly, and with both feet in the real world. You’re not just peeking into a cave; you’re walking into a chapter of Crete’s story. You’re not just watching reptiles; you’re giving your kids a safe adventure they’ll actually talk about later. And at the honey farm and olive mill, you meet real producers who open their doors the old-fashioned way, with warmth, pride, and no tourist gloss. Every stop is chosen because it offers something hands-on, heartfelt, and genuinely fun for families. The mix of myth, wildlife, sweet tastings, and village hospitality turns the day into a tapestry of textures - cool stone, warm honey, fresh oil, and a table set with food that tastes like someone’s grandmother still guards the recipe. It’s not a manufactured “family activity.” It’s Crete, shared with you the right way.
