What are people saying about Bucharest

This was a great...
This was a great experience! I really enjoyed Blan Castle, Peles Castle, and our time in Brasov. Our guide, Emmanuel, was great and shared a lot of interesting information with us. I'd definitely do this tour again.
I'd recommend bringing snacks and water as you do stop but there are also long drives in between. And use the bathroom whenever one is available as the bus does not have one!

You have to do this!
Our driver and guide, Robert, was great. Informative and knowledgeable! We were taken to all the sites, given a history lesson and stopped to get some wonderful pictures. This was a wonderful experience from a local with lots of information to share for 2 hours.

Book the 3-hour Tour - it’s worth it!!!
First time in Bucharest for me, and I booked a last-minute evening tuk tuk tour because I wanted to get the lay of the land while seeing the city lit up at night.
Alin was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Bucharest — it felt like I was touring the city with a walking encyclopedia. We stopped at so many historical landmarks and covered a huge portion of the city in just three hours. I was especially blown away by the Ion Luca Caragiale Statue and learning more about the man behind the statue.
Seeing the massive Palace of the Parliament lit up at night was unforgettable. Learning that it is the world’s largest administrative building with 1,100 rooms made it even more impressive. Driving along the illuminated boulevard at night was such a vibe. We also stopped at the Ceaușescu Mansion, which I definitely plan to return to because I want to spend more time there — especially to see more of the peacocks.
Bucharest has so many beautiful parks, fascinating history, and hidden gems to discover. This tour was absolutely money well spent!

Great service!
The trip was great. The driver Daniel and the tour guide Stephan did a fantastic job so the trip went as smoothly as possible and we learned many interesting facts about Romanian history.
We had some delays but the experience was great and totally worth it.
Definitely recommend but keep in mind its better to book tickets for the castles before the trip and check if the castles are open on the day you're traveling!

Spectacular History
Pele Castle is spectacular the history behind both castles is amazing so is the old charm of Brasov.
Our guide Otilia was very knowledgeable, but delivered this real passion and humour made the day so enjoyable. George the driver was very good navigating some horrendous traffic and mountain roads.
The pace of the trip is just right.

Magical day out
Excellent but long day out! The itinery was fantastic with majestic castles and a quaint town. There were plenty of toilet stops during the day mainly at service stations where there were minimal queues. There was a bit of a queue at Peles castle but it moved at a reasonable pace. Lunch was at an authentic restaurant recommended by Romeo, our guide. Romeo was very informative and helpful although some quiet on the journey back to Bucharest would have been appreciated.

Ideal tour for the first time visitor
An excellent 2 and a half hour 5k tour of old town and some of the new town.
Our guide Eduard was entertaining, engaging and extremely knowledgeable. He kept our attention for the whole tour with his delivery and enthusiasm. The tour covered all the architectural, cultural and historical highlights of the old town and the wonderful parks.
I would highly recommend the tour.

Bulgaria Day Trip from Zagreb, Croatia.
I really enjoyed it. The only issue for me is the van was completely full. It's nice to meet new people, but to be so close to absolute strangers is uncomfortable. I realize you cannot rent an oversize vehicle to transport 6 people. But there should be a bit more space to add to the comfort of riding for several hours.

Great day out
Great day out at the Slănic Salt Mine. Our guide was a lovely lady - friendly, organised, and full of interesting information about the area and the mine's history. The whole trip ran smoothly and the site itself is incredible to see.
Definitely worth doing.

Comfortable, private trip
It was a wonderful day trip with the knowledgeable Bogdan, who was very flexible and brought us to the places with the least tourists first. His car was also very comfortable. We will definitely contact him the next time we visit Romania for a longer trip!

Great day exploring this beautiful countryside with an expert driver
Kristian was outstanding driver and a terrific conversationalist. We enjoyed our day with him.
The Peles castle had incredible wood carving throughout .
The Bran castle was a fun challenge going up and down the stairs.
The lunch at Brasov was very good. We managed to see the three sites mentioned in two hours.
All of the sites were touristy but well organized. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the drive and were glad to say we got to Transylvania.

A Mind-Altering Experience in Bucharest!
Bucharest's food and drink were beyond expectations. And it was our guide, Bogdan, who brought it to life! First, he shared covrigi -a popular, affordable street food snack, then sat us down on the steps of Bucharest's National Theater and set the table with a wonderful history lesson. After which we proceeded to Taste Bucharest. And indeed, it was a Food Lover's Tour of Markets & Neighbourhoods as you can see from the pics. At 5 hours, this tour was a tremendous value - a delish and delightful foodie experience complemented by Bogdan's nuanced insights.

Bucharest is a multi-faceted European capital that has, in many ways, modernized rapidly since the fall of the Soviet Union. But it retains an old-world flavor that makes it a favorite among travelers. Learn about Romania’s complex past with history-focused Bucharest tours, then sample the city’s specialties on a food-focused walk and see major attractions like the royal palace. There are even excursions to popular tourist destinations nearby like Transylvania and Dracula’s Castle.
