Welcome to Adelaide, a city that doesn’t rush to impress — yet quietly wins you over. Wide streets, fresh air, and parklands create a calm that feels intentional, not accidental. This walk reveals Adelaide step by step: food-filled laneways, lively markets, grand civic buildings, playful public art, leafy squares, and riverside pauses. One moment you’re following the smell of dumplings, the next you’re standing among stories carved in stone and bronze. Adelaide’s magic is balance. Heritage sits easily beside modern life, culture feels confident without being loud, and the city invites you to slow down. Walk at your own pace. Linger, wander, grab a coffee. Adelaide works best when you let it set the rhythm — and it’s very good at that.

The helicopter then flies you back to base. About 2 hours, daily at 12 noon. One price covers you both, and you can upgrade to a 20 or 30-minute flight if you also want to. Barossa Helicopters is South Australia's longest-running helicopter company, flying the Barossa since the mid-1980s.
