The coach we rode in was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. We had a very good driver who got us there safely and was good at driving in lots of traffic. Our tour guide so knowledgeable about the history of England and all of the places we visited. She really made the tour great by sharing all of her vast knowledge about the places we went. You can tell she really loves her job. We enjoyed the tour immensely but wished we had more time at Windsor Castle and Oxford.

Informative Tour Guide
A fruitful trip with a wonderful tour guide. Thanks to Ms Anna with all the information provided throughout the trip. Of course special thanks to the driver Mr Lucion for the safety drive throughout the journey.

Oxford and Highclere were great. Too much driving in between. They should have skipped Bampton because as cool as it was, there is 5 minutes to see and an hour of driving to get there.

Downton Was Delightful!
Loved the trip to Oxford. We broke away from the guided tour after a bit since we wanted to do our own thing. So glad we did. We had a nice lunch and toured as much of the universities as we could before leaving for Downton. We loved pulling up to Highclere Castle as the opening theme to the show played in our heads. Loved the tour inside and out. The grounds are beautifully maintained with many different flowers in full bloom! Our tour guide and driver were second to none.

Oxford
All Souls College at the the Oxford University City, UK.
  • The University of Oxford is a must for history buffs, architecture lovers, and photographers.

  • Students are usually in the city for just three 8-week terms, or less than half the year.

  • Wear comfortable shoes, as you’ll be on your feet a lot.

  • Avoid peering through windows, wandering into stairwells, etc. The colleges are institutions where students and their teachers live and work.

  • Oxford is a flat city, and the University of Oxford has reasonably good disabled access, but check provisions at each individual college or institution when planning your visit.
