Just outside Brașov stand two of the most remarkable fortified churches the Transylvanian Saxons ever built, and they are far quieter than the castles most visitors queue for. This private trip takes you to both: UNESCO-listed Prejmer, begun by the Teutonic Knights in 1218, where around 275 storage rooms are stacked inside walls up to 12 metres high, and Hărman, a church dating back to 1240 with seven defensive towers and the tallest bell tower in the Bârsa Land (56 m). Door-to-door pickup in Brașov, entry tickets to both churches and an unhurried pace are all included, so you simply explore.

Oradea is one of the finest Art Nouveau cities in Central Europe — a place where building facades seem sculpted by a jeweler's hand, with floral ornaments, elegant curves and colors that ignite the imagination. Sometimes called the "Paris of Transylvania", Oradea greets you with a distinctive energy: modern yet deeply rooted in its own history. Your guide — Daniela — is a specialist in cultural tourism and Art Nouveau architecture, with academic training in architectural history and experience presenting urban heritage. Born and raised in Oradea, she knows the city as a story told in layers: the architects who designed the palaces, the craftsmen who cast the floral ornaments, the era of creative ferment at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries when a provincial city chose to look like Vienna. An English-speaking guide with an eye trained for architectural detail and a narrative that turns every building into a character.
