Welcome to Medan! After arriving at Kuala Namu International Airport, your adventure begins with a scenic trip to Tangkahan! where you’ll trek through lush greenery, experience a waterfall, and enjoy lunch by the river. The highlight of the day is interacting with orangutans and elephants, including feeding and bathing the elephants. Afterward, you’ll return to Medan for transfer to either the airport or your hotel.

Look for orangutans, macaques, carnivorous plants, and more on this overnight hike through Sumatra's Gunung Leuser National Park. Meet your guide in Bukit Lawang the day before your trek to finalize everything, then hike with no more than seven other travelers to your jungle camp beside the river, swim in a waterfall, and raft back to base.
