Day Trips from Side to Antalya

Travel roughly 1.5 hours west of Side to reach Antalya, the gateway to the Turkish Riviera, where you can see the contrast between an ancient port and modern city. Most organized day trips give you time to stroll the narrow Ottoman-era streets of the historic Kaleici district and admire Hadrian's Gate, with stops at the Duden Waterfalls, where the river falls directly into the sea, and the Antalya Museum with its collection of Roman statues. These guided excursions do the work of navigating the busy urban traffic and provide professional guides who can explain the city’s strategic role from the Hellenistic period to the present.
