What are people saying about Santiago

Un guia seco
This is a ‘don’t miss’ tour. Pablo introduced us to the concept of “picada”. Reserved for down-to-earth, authentic, inexpensive, large portion restaurants, this tour does not disappoint. But that is the last stop on the tour. First you are treated to the market at a level enjoyed by locals. Foods not exported outside of Chile, local fruits and vegetables, and the vendors - interacting with people who have been at the market, or whose families have been at the market for decades. The 84 year old potato farmer, the ultimate empanada maker, the vendor with cuchayuyo , olives and pickles unlike other places in the world…truly a Chilean food experience.
A treat at every turn. The only down side is that you can’t come hungry enough! Pablo is un guia seco - Él es muy apreciado

Great day trip!
Great trip with Fernando! I think he’s more of an independent contractor but all arrangements and communications through Eugene and the company were very professional! We would travel with Fernando again!
Really enjoyed the William Cole/Quintay winery more than expected. Jorge there was exceptional. It’s clear he and the team there really care. Loved meeting Rose the vineyard pup too!
I thought Casa del Bosque may be a tourist trap (it kinda is, but that seems unfair to say because it’s great) food was incredible, everyone was lovely and also a stunning property. It will go down as one of the best meals I’ve had. Price was actually reasonable too.

Great tour!
It was a great day to tour Viña del Mar, Valparaiso, and a little wine tasting with friends!
Cristobal was a great guide sharing the wonderful history of this beautiful country and guiding us through the colorful streets of Valparaiso with his story telling. The weather cooperated to combine a wonderful day seeing all the sights! I highly recommend this tour for the great price and experience!

5 star tour. Would recommend to all
Daniel let an informative and entertaining group tour to Valparaiso. Very enjoyable and learned a lot about Chilean art, history and commerce during the day. The city is a wonderland of art and the citizens obviously take a great deal of pride in their city. Enjoyed stop offs at the harbor, looking at amazing murals and city views of the ocean, and a funicular ride as well which is always enjoyable. Definitely feel this trip helps flesh out a trip to Santiago and gives some added color without having to travel too far. Very enjoyable day!

A Must Experience Outing
We had an amazing day visiting Inca Lagoon in Portillo. On the way, we had wine tasting and delicious empanadas. The scenery spectacular and the cars and trucks climbing 20 something curves up the mountain were just incredible.
We had lunch at Hotel Portillo (on our own expense) and enjoyed beautiful lagoon, walked down to the beach. The color of water was aqua and snow topped mountains were so picturesque.
Our guide Julio was an enthusiastic historian and educator. We learned so much from him. He seemed to enjoy his job to the max and he spoke excellent English. Most of all, he was very thoughtful host, saving unused bottle of wine from the winery for us so that we can have with our meal later on. We really appreciated his hospitality.
I recommend this company without any reservations.

A perfect day hike outside of Santiago
We had a great time with our guide Andres as he helped us navigate the paths through the valley. We had ample opportunity to admire the scenery and take in the fresh air. You could tell Andres loves nature and truly enjoys the outdoors.
Make sure to bring trekking/hiking shoes as the path is a bit rugged. Also, I recommend thick socks or pants that cover the ankles due to the short thistle shrubs. Not a challenging hike but definitely not a stroll in the park so plan accordingly.

Loved it.
La Bicicleta Verde tour was so wonderful and informative. Isa our tour guide was so kind, ulta knowledgeable, and we felt safe following her around the city the whole tour. She is passionate about biking and giving back to the community through biking and that truly comes out during the tour. Definitely do this when you come to Santiago!

Great tour of the Casablanca Valley!
We thoroughly enjoyed this Casablanca Valley winery tour! It ended up being just the two of us plus a single traveler, so we really had the full attention of our guide as well as the Winery representatives. Our guide (Carlos) was wonderful - he spoke great English, was a good driver, and made sure everything went smoothly at each of the wineries. Each winery was ready for us, and provided a great tour/tasting! And lunch at Tanino was very nice - casas del bosque is a very refined, manicured winery. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Informative and fun day
Jorge was a fantastic guide who made the day very special for us. Even though 12/14 people on the tour were Spanish speaking, he took the time to also sit with my wife and I and explain everything in English (we do not speak Spanish very well, but we could understand his Spanish for many items).
We were given history and context and he made the day fun, as he is also a teacher.
Highly recommend!

We saw Condors up close...
We saw Condors up close and flying both below and above the spot from where we were watching.
Christabel was an outstanding guide as well as being a very interesting person.
On this trip there are many quiet aces with great Andes vistas.
Christabel was an outstanding guide.

I loved it!
It was an amazing trip! Just an hour away from the big metropolis finding yourself surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Andes!
Our guide Diego was so informative and well acquainted with the area we visited. I loved his quick with and sense of humor.

Excellent Half Day Tour
This was an excellent half day tour near Santiago. The tour is really sharing facts to the Concha y Toro where, then, their staff takes over. However, I didn’t have to worry about logistics as I showed up and learned more about the history of the vineyards. Of course, I thoroughly enjoyed the wine. Highly recommend!
