What are people saying about Santiago

Yummy…and then some!!
Pablo was so easy to be with, always keeping us informed, wanting to know all about us, the whole time offering us bites of this, samples of that. Come hungry as the sit down at the market restaurant is four large shareable bowls of the local dining favorites. Wow! Yummy!! Then a secret treat at the end! Quite the cultural experience. Don’t miss this tour!

Wine tasting at a historic winery
Very nice wine tour that gave the history of winemaking in Chile. We appreciated tasting the wines throughout different points in the tour. The premium wine tasting portion afterwards was a more traditional tasting, but well worth it. Easy to get to from Santiago by Uber.

Incredible experience!
We had such a fun day with our excellent guide and driver! We learned so much about Valparaiso (and Chile’s) history, notable people and places as we explored. Every stop felt intentional to give a deeper feel for life in Valparaiso - from the behind the scenes visit with the piure expert at the fish market, to tracking hidden series of pictures within the streets of murals, to stopping to highlight markers of transitions between different neighborhoods, to identifying symbolism in the murals. We walked a lot and covered a lot of ground and yet it was mostly downhill somehow! The drive from Santiago was lovely, with stops for coffee and pastries then at a vineyard to pet and feed alpaca, wander lovely grounds, and have a no-pressure-to-buy wine tasting with a helpful and friendly host. This tour is for you if you, like us, appreciate minimizing time on a bus and instead prefer an immersive experience with a local guide who is passionate about inspiring appreciation for and understanding of the people, places and culture of Chile. It’s probably also important to note that we never felt rushed, the van was spotless, and both the driver and guide were professional, kind, and respectful of the people we interacted with through the day.

Chilean Cruisin’
A great way to burn some calories while learning about various elements of Chilean life. Rey and the other guide (we didn’t catch her name!) did a great job keeping everyone safe throughout the tour.
One of the coolest things about our booking was that being a Sunday, Chile shuts down the main road to promote an active community which allowed our group to cruise along faster, farther than if booked on any other day! The stop in the market was enjoyable as we walked the numerous rows of stalls to get immersed in the hub of the market. A fresh juice and snack powered everyone for the back half of the tour where we checked out the Park of Structures.
Our family enjoyed the friendliness of the team and the pace of the ride. Definitely book this tour if you’re visiting Santiago for the first time!
Thank you Rey and team for a memorable ride and glimpse into Chilean life.

Wonderful day in Chile
The trip was great! Our guide Tiare and driver Jose made the day amazing. There are multiple sets of steps to climb, but Tiare was patient and did not rush anyone. Tiare was an excellent guide and full of information to share with us which made the whole trip informative, but also fun in a city full of color and history. We had a great lunch and adequate time to eat. The tour gave a great lesson in the history of Emiliana Vineyard and the wine tasting presentation was also informative. The largest Organic vineyard in the world. Overall, I believe the tour guide and driver made this experience what it was and that was wonderful!

A Lovely Day Sightseeing
Julio was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Chile and specifically Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar. We had a lovely full day with a seaside lunch in Vina Del Mar and ending with a wine tasting at Emiliana Organic Vineyard. Highly recommend!

4 Very Different Vineyards Make for Interesting Day
Day trip to visit Casablanca vineyards! Carlos provides history of Chile while in transit: in both English & Portuguese. He took group photos & scenic shots then sent them to us all. Very kind! The driver took drone video & surprised us with shots of the wineries by air. Great way to spend a day!

Informative and fun day
Jorge was a fantastic guide who made the day very special for us. Even though 12/14 people on the tour were Spanish speaking, he took the time to also sit with my wife and I and explain everything in English (we do not speak Spanish very well, but we could understand his Spanish for many items).
We were given history and context and he made the day fun, as he is also a teacher.
Highly recommend!

We saw Condors up close...
We saw Condors up close and flying both below and above the spot from where we were watching.
Christabel was an outstanding guide as well as being a very interesting person.
On this trip there are many quiet aces with great Andes vistas.
Christabel was an outstanding guide.

Had a wonderful time with...
Had a wonderful time with Elias and his son Cristian. It felt like a perfect amount of time in each winery and they were kind and accommodating. Cristian told us great facts and stories and took plenty of photos of us. Would recommend to anyone staying in Santiago!

Excellent Half Day Tour
This was an excellent half day tour near Santiago. The tour is really sharing facts to the Concha y Toro where, then, their staff takes over. However, I didn’t have to worry about logistics as I showed up and learned more about the history of the vineyards. Of course, I thoroughly enjoyed the wine. Highly recommend!

Hike and Hot Springs - worth it!
It’s a beautiful hike with knowledgeable and friendly guides, stunning views of the Andes, to a beautiful meadow with a stream and natural springs. We saw wildflowers, beautiful high mountains, birds and horses, and they provided a nice packed lunch and water for us too. The max altitude will be about 8200ft, not high enough for altitude sickness, but there were some moderately steep inclines that caused some exertion but they gave lots of breaks and provided hiking poles.
We did the optional hot springs add-on which is was preferred to just the longer hike! It was so relaxing and such a unique experience, the hot springs themselves felt like they were at the end of the earth, nestled on the side of a deep valley. Our guides Elias and Andres made it especially fun. Would 100% do again.
