From Vineyards to Beach via a Poets Retreat
A lovely drive to the coast via the vineyards of the Casablanca Valley. Visiting lovely oceanside towns and the favorite home & final resting place of the Nobel Laureate Poet, Pablo Neruda. With a stop at the City of Clay Pots - Pomire.

Great tour, poor guide
The tour was excellent with the high being the museum. Pomaire was ok if you like brown pottery.
Biggest issue was the guide spoke no English and the driver had some bad asking questions was very difficult.

Extraordinary tour!
Elias was an extraordinary tour guide! We stopped at many points of interest besides the regular stops. There was no wasted time as the driver Oscar was prompt at all times. He was also a very safe driver. This tour may not be taken by many but you'd love it. The shoreline is worth it alone!

Danine was an excellent...
Danine was an excellent tour guide. She gave us so much information about Chile and immersed us in knowledge of her country. The guided tour of Isla Negra was fascinating and inspiringly beautiful. We ended the tour in a small town that is known for its pottery making. It was just a perfect experience.

A relaxing day sightseeing outside of Santiago
We had a great day sightseeing with our guide Ignacio. He was friendly and knowledgeable and kept us comfortable in the car. He told us the interesting history about the areas that we passed by and stopped in and let us wander on our own when we wanted when wanted, and we had a delicious lunch in a restaurant overlooking the ocean. The house of Pablo Neruda was a highlight and definitely worth a visit.

Daniel took us to a small...
Daniel took us to a small village typical of SA , with tons of street vendors and rustic restaurants. While it looked chaos and poor, it was delightful, everyone was friendly and the food wonderful. No other tour has done this. It was a fantasy turned true. We absolutely loved it.!!!!

Excellent Tour to Pomaire and Black Island Tour - Highly Recommend!
What a fabulous day, visiting Isla Negra and Pomaire. The driver and tour guide picked us up from the hotel on time and the van was very comfortable. Our tour guide and driver were professional, knowledgeable and fun. They were flexible with our small group and allowed us enough time for some shopping and lunch in Pomaire. If you like empandas, Pomaire has plenty! The tour guide provided interesting information about the various points of interest. At the Neruda House, there is a fascinating audio tour, provided in different languages. The rugged beach is absolutely beautiful. Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxed day. I would take other friends and family on this tour.

Great tour
This was a wonderful tour. The coast was beautiful in spite of the rain. The tour of Isla Negra was a favorite activity from our entire trip to Chile. Rodrigo was an excellent guide. Would highly recommend this tour!

Nice. Pablo Nerudas house very interesting. Guide and driver great wish could see more of beach towns. Traffic was horrible but not their fault. Weekend probably not good time to go

Isle Negra & Port San Antonio
Alex was a great tour guide. Isla Negra was a wonderful experience! Alex worked with us to not repeat anything we had done the prior day!

Recommended tour!
Our (private) guide Alex was great. Very communicative. Did not care about time. Simply wanted us to have a perfect day.

When to visit

Make sure you have plenty of pesos as vendors typically only accept cash.
Bring sunscreen, water, and a hat if visiting in summer; the little village can bake in the sun.
The village is home to several restaurants; be sure to try the local delicacy ofpastel de choclo (beef and corn casserole).
As Pomaire is typically a day trip destination, staying overnight is not usually possible.
