From Vineyards to Beach via a Poets Retreat
A lovely drive to the coast via the vineyards of the Casablanca Valley. Visiting lovely oceanside towns and the favorite home & final resting place of the Nobel Laureate Poet, Pablo Neruda. With a stop at the City of Clay Pots - Pomire.

Great tour, poor guide
The tour was excellent with the high being the museum. Pomaire was ok if you like brown pottery. Biggest issue was the guide spoke no English and the driver had some bad asking questions was very difficult.

Extraordinary tour!
Elias was an extraordinary tour guide! We stopped at many points of interest besides the regular stops. There was no wasted time as the driver Oscar was prompt at all times. He was also a very safe driver. This tour may not be taken by many but you'd love it. The shoreline is worth it alone!

Pomaire
  • Make sure you have plenty of pesos as vendors typically only accept cash.

  • Bring sunscreen, water, and a hat if visiting in summer; the little village can bake in the sun.

  • The village is home to several restaurants; be sure to try the local delicacy ofpastel de choclo (beef and corn casserole).

  • As Pomaire is typically a day trip destination, staying overnight is not usually possible.
