Kuranda ❤️

We were picked up on time by the tour bus. The driver was informative, friendly and helpful. The skyrail gave stunning views of the mountain side, sea and surrounding suburbs. Kuranda was amazing. There's fair bit of walking but we'll worth it. We chose to visit Birdworld and the butterfly house. Both attractions were a lot of fun but birdworlds was definitely the favourite for my kid.

A great day

This was a full on day but really enjoyable. The train ride was lovely and we really enjoyed the ride into the rainforest on the army duck. The guides were very knowledgeable and the day was very well planned out. It was good to learn about the indigenous peoples history and the information about the rainforest. The sky ride was great- even the rain didn’t spoil it

This is a MUST DO tour.

One of the best, if not THE best, day tours I have ever been on. And that’s with a chunk in the middle that wasn’t necessary and a dinner that was pretty grim. The train, animals and canopy gondola are so amazing that they more than compensated for the rubbery steak and the dull padding.

The Kuranda Experience

Would not miss it. Traveling on the sky train gives you a wonderful Birds Eye view of the area. We visited the bird, butterfly and koala sanctuaries which was great. There are many unique stores along with a great open market in Kuranda. The train ride was quite amazing and very magical. We had booked the gold card coach. Would definitely recommend.

Great day in Kuranda

The tour is good as it has scenic train ride with a stop, skyrail with 2 good stops for different view of the Barron Falls and breathtaking rainforest canopy. The duck tour, cultural and wildlife activities in the Rainforestation centre and the butterflies sanctuary are informative while providing good fun and the lunch is decent. The only down side is it is DIY with no tour guide, though it is pretty easy to navigate with the briefing and handout and transport is seamless.

Kuranda, a fabulous option when Reef tours are canceled due to weather

Spend the extra money for Gold Class. It was a fabulous experience. From the hotel pickup, great driver/guide to the easy navigation of the skyway, Kuranda town, dining options, and shopping to return trip on the train, it was a perfect day.
