Double Island Point Tours and Tickets

Double Island Point is ideal for surfers, hikers, and 4WD adventurers.

You’ll need a high-clearance 4WD, a permit, and beach driving experience to access the Cooloola Beach Drive; only travel around low tide.

As you can only travel on the beach around low tide, surf trip timings will vary by tide times. Don’t be surprised to leave at strange times of day.

Double Island Point isn’t accessible to travelers who rely on wheelchairs or have mobility issues. Parents will need to use back carriers rather than strollers.
