Top Port Vila Natural Attractions in 2026

See two of Vanuatu's most beautiful spots on Efate Island during this half-day combo tour. The day begins with a leisurely swim in the crystalline waters of Eton Blue Lagoon. Next, you'll head to Eden on the River, where you can enjoy postcard-perfect views of the emerald green swimming pool amid the forest canopy. A duty-free shopping excursion rounds out the tour.

Enjoy fun, family-friendly adventures in nature at the Eden on the River Park. Entry tickets give you access to beautiful swimming areas on the Rentapau River, tropical rainfores walking trails, an animal farm park, a playground for kids, and more. Come for a quick visit or spend all day here exploring the facilities—it's up to you as tickets are valid all day.

Whether you’re travelling children or you want a change of pace from the typical nature walks and bus tours, sign up for the Bridges of Eden. This challenging suspension bridge course on the Rentapau River is a fun way for the family to discover the Vanuatu rainforest. Clamber across the bridges and fly down the zipline to the end of the circuit – or, if you want to take things slow, just enjoy a leisurely swim in the river or walk through the dense Efate bush.

Launch into the air, soar across deep ravines, and find sweeping views over Mele Bay on a Port Vila zipline tour in the Vanuatu jungle. Since traveling to the start of the zipline course means an adventurous 4WD trip through the forest, you’ll see a rugged side of the island without planning a separate jungle tour, then descend a series of six ziplines that total .9 miles (1.4 km.).

Discover the culture and natural beauty of Efate Island during this small-group tour. Receive complimentary pickup and drop-off from your hotel or cruise ship and embark on an adventure around the island. Visit a cultural village to learn about local customs, swim in the beautiful Blue Lagoon, kayak in the waters of Rarru Cascades, and much more over the course of the day.

Make the most of a short time in Vanuatu on a day trip that’s ideal for cruise-ship passengers. Explore three of the island’s top natural attractions: the vivid waters of Eton Blue Lagoon, swim at the Eden on the River waterfall, and snorkel in the clear seas off Hideaway Island. Includes a tasty lunch and port or hotel transfers.

The serene snorkelling tour lasts between 1 to 1.5 hours and begins right at the front of Back To Eden. The guide will lead you to the most beautiful sea anemone known as Nemo City, the home of dozens of beautiful clown fish. You will also be lead to a sea bed containing the most iridescent giant clams, as well as stunning coral and schools of tropical fish, if your lucky spot a turtle or two (sometimes there have been up-to 5 turtles on these tours!) All of this begins right at the front of Back to Eden Restaurant, with all snorkel gear provided for the tour.

Discover the culture, natural beauty, and biodiversity of Port Vila and Vanuatu when you book this full-day tour. Swim and jump into the crystal-clear waters of the Blue Lagoon, AVI turtles and Hideaway Island.; and observe beautiful sea turtles from a close distance at a sanctuary.
