Fun game, interesting story, good tour of Rotterdam

We enjoyed this "scavenger hunt" escape game as a way to explore Rotterdam. The story line was entertaining, and the clues led us to all kinds of interesting things to see. Some of the puzzle solutions were just a bit too obscure for us, but the hints helped solve them. We did have some trouble with crowds and construction sites, we were there on the King's Birthday holiday, and many streets were madhouses of vendors and people partying. Working our way through the crowds slowed us down and made some of the clues harder to find, on a different day it would be easier. I would like to see more information about route and distance to be traveled. As it turned out, we didn't have time to finish the game, which was a bit disappointing. The distances between targets were more than we expected, and we didn't hurry when we should have. What we did complete was fun and interesting, and we're going to investigate what other exploration games are available from Questo where we live.

Great option for exploring Rotterdam in a half day!

We met Adrien at 2:00 pm at our hotel and he explained much of the history of the city while we explored on foot through old and new Rotterdam. We stopped for fresh Stroop waffles at the Market and awed the amazing, often curious, architecture of Rotterdam, including the peculiar Cube Houses. All at a pace we were comfortable with, given it was a private tour. After 3 hours of walking, with brief stops, we were grateful to board the leisurely harbor cruise at 5:00 pm, where our guide departed. The Rotterdam Harbor is enormous and the cruise lasted 75 minutes. Great overall experience. Wear comfortable shoes!!
