The first place we will visit is Ancient Corinth, which used to be a powerful center in ancient Greece. Then we will go to the Corinth Canal, a remarkable engineering feat that connects two gulfs, and take in the stunning views from a lookout point.

We cooperate with 2 families who are located 40 min drive from Nafplio in a mountainous village, 700 meters altitude. The village is one of the highlights in our region where locals hang out and where you can eat authentic , village food. One family has a restaurant-local tavern and the other one owns a home with a wooden oven.What we are going to do; We drink fresh water at the spring fountain at the village square while we do an introduction about this place. Continuing we drink a mountain tea with honey and a panoramic view of the mountains and the village.Afterwards aprons on and hands on , to start making 2 recipes :The famous Greek tzatziki and Gemista (Stuffed vegetables with sauce and rice) As soon as we finish you will walk just 5 min from the restaurant to meet the second 'chef'-housewife-Greek grandmother (yiayia in Greek)You are going to learn how to cook a cheese pie making your own phyllo and learning how to cook it in a wooden oven-Slow cooking-
