Enjoy this spectacular trip to “El Morado” Natural Monument National Park, located at 93 kms (57 miles) from Santiago. The starting point of the hike is in Baños Morales, a mountain village at 1,900 meters of altitude (6,200 ft). The trail leads to the beautiful San Francisco Glacier lookout at 2,500 meters (8,200 ft) and the Morales Glacier lagoon. During the hike we will have a refreshing stop at “Aguas de Panimávida”, iron-rich carbonated waters that directly spills out from the earth. Difficulty level is HIGH. Andres and his team far...

Andres and his team far exceeded our expectations for this trip. Throughout the entire day they were professional, knowledgeable, and patient. Some of us were a little unprepared for the cold weather, and Andres offered our daughter one of his jackets to wear and another individual a pair of his gloves. In addition, the surprise at the end was unexpected and added a great finishing touch to an already amazing trip. Highly recommend this tour!

This is the best Andes...

This is the best Andes tour for those looking for an authentic hiking experience all in one day trip - no fluff stops for shopping, just the hike. We saw other hikers only once along the way, a few minutes before our return. The guides couldn't be more friendly and knowledgeable! There is a stop for breakfast after picking up all the hikers (at your expense) and a good lunch and a goodbye wine&cheese included in the fee. They also provide hiking poles.
