Top Activities on the Ground in Ko Lanta

Thailand’s Andaman Coast is home to some of the country’s most spectacular coastal scenery, so don’t let limited time stop you from seeing the highlights. Departing from Koh Lanta, this attraction-packed tour covers several Phi Phi Islands hot spots in just one day, with plenty of time for swimming, snorkeling, and capturing social media-worthy shots.

See the ocean cliffs, beaches, and bays of the Phi Phi Islands on a full-day speedboat tour from Koh Lanta. Visit Maya Bay, Monkey Beach, and more on a day of swimming, snorkeling, and exploring. You won't have to plan an itinerary or hotel transfers, and you'll also enjoy a traditional Thai buffet lunch. Learn about the local marine life as you explore the coral reefs.

Kayak through the mangroves and sea caves on the waters near Koh Lanta by Tung Yee Peng Village. Your tour will start with a convenient hotel pick up, and then you’ll travel to the pier. Your guide will show you the best ways to explore the caves and mangroves. After, you’ll have an included lunch at Bu Bu Island where you can swim and snorkel, too.

Visit four of the islands around Lanta and explore the Emerald Cave with this full-day snorkeling tour, which includes round-trip hotel transfers. You'll visit Ko Ngai, Ko Muk, and the Emerald Cave, with time left over to dine on an included lunch of local fare at sandy Ko Ngai Beach.

Trade the crowded shorelines for the rhythmic pulse of the island’s secret heart. This journey is a masterclass in transitions, taking you from the vibrant life of the mangrove canopy to the surreal glow of a sea that mimics the stars. As the afternoon sun dips, you’ll navigate the ancient waterways of Thung Yee Peng by traditional longtail boat, observing macaques and kingfishers in their emerald sanctuary. At Laem Kho Kwang, the river meets the ocean, offering a front-row seat to a fiery sunset enjoyed over a quiet dinner on the sand. The true magic, however, awakens in the dark. In a final, ethereal kayaking session, you’ll witness the bioluminescent plankton—a rare phenomenon where every stroke of your paddle ignites the water in shimmering blue sparks. It is a silent, breathtaking finale that feels less like a tour and more like paddling through a dream.
