History, humor, and Hugh!
If you’re visiting Amelia Island, you have to book a tour with Hugh! He turned our visit into such a memorable experience. His knowledge of Fernandina Beach and the island's history is incredible, and he delivers it in a way that is engaging and genuinely fun. It’s easily the best way to get the 'lay of the land' while learning the fascinating stories behind it. I’d recommend a tour with Hugh to everyone—it’s a must-do!

Beautiful and beginner-friendly
Had a great time paddling down this lazy waterway and noticing all the nature around us. Our guide made sure to point out the yellow-bellied turtles and baby gator (!) and shared fun facts about the ecosystem. It seems if you come in spring it could be extra magical with blooming wisteria. It was a little windy on the way back but definitely still doable. It's such a nice bonus that you get the photos from the tour sent to you afterwards.

History of Fernandina
Daniel was amazingly knowledgeable, he filled our time with information about the history of Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island and St Augustine. He was friendly, answering questions and made sure all our interests were addressed. Definitely would do it again and recommend to everyone.

New way to get around Amelia Island
The ride is comfortable and safe. It can go up to 65 mph, so you can easily keep up with traffic. But you won’t need to do that on the Island. We cruised through Fort Clinch Park, drove through the Bosque Bello Cemetery and travelled all through town. It’s a very fun ride.
