Muang Boran Ancient City and Erawan Museums
The Muang Borang Ancient City Open Air Museum is a great way to experience the regional differences in the iconography of Buddhism and how these impact the belief system in Thailand. The Erawan Museum was very impressive. Chaiya, our guide, was very attentive to our questions and has a good dominion of knowledge. His ability to express himself in English is acceptable but several times I could not understand what he was trying to say. The lunch provided was a buffet with a reasonable variety.

Well worth it
Great day out, especially at th Ancient City. Our driver dropped us off at various locations around the park so no need to walk or hire a golf cart. Yut, our guide was especially helpful.

Photographers you will love it
They were on time & we were lucky we didn’t waste much time on Bangkok traffic. The tour guide was nice & helpful but his English was broken so it was tough to understand him sometimes but in general it was great trip & I highly recommend it if you have time in Bangkok. Great photo place that holds interesting architecture.

Beautiful sites!
Excellent tour!! Both attractions are a must see, if you're in Bangkok. My driver was very good, he made sure I was cooled down after being out exploring the sites and stopped at the gift shop when I asked. *Note* both sites are outdoors, make sure you have sunscreen and a hat.

Highly recommend!
Beautiful and fascinating! The Ancient City is like mini-tour of Thailand in just a few hours. Some of the areas appear to be new or under some construction.
Pics do not do justice, esp to Erawan Museum. My guide was super nice, his English wasn't super good but we figured it out! He was very polite and offered to take photos of me. It's nice to have something other than a selfie in these locations.
Please ensure you're prepared for mildly modest clothing, and to take your shoes off a lot to enter the temples. Comfy walking shoes that slip on would be ideal.
Take sunscreen and lots of water.

Wat and Pat were amazing. They were so knowledgeable and catered to us at every turn. Such a great intro to Thai culture.

Yes but with a different tour guide who spoke better English. She was difficult to understand. We stopped asking questio
Ask for a tour guide fluent in your language. Tour was to be 6 hours long and we gave up after 5 hours. Also I appreciated tour guide waited for us as morning tour ended late.

The Erawan Museum is a must for photographers, Instagrammers, and anyone with an interest in design.
This is a religious site, so dress respectfully, covering shoulders and legs above the knee. (Sarongs and scarves are available at the museum.)
You’ll need to remove your shoes to enter the museum.
Don’t confuse the Erawan Museum with the Erawan Shrine in downtown Bangkok.
Float the lotus flower you receive on arrival on the water to pay your respects to Erawan.
The Erawan Museum is not wheelchair-accessible.
