Top Edfu Day Trips

You don’t need a cruise to experience the majestic Nileside temples at Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Aswan—and many travelers find a private day trip by road delivers a less crowded sightseeing experience than the average cruise. This private guided door-to-door tour, with a restaurant lunch and entrance fees included, takes in the fascinating double temple at Kom Ombo, Edfu’s beautifully painted Temple of Horus, Philae Temple, and Aswan High Dam.

See two of Egypt's most significant temples on this private day tour from Luxor. Your Egyptologist guide will take you to the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus. It's considered the best-preserved of Egypt's cult temples. You'll then stop for an included boxed lunch before continuing to Kom Ombo, dedicated to the crocodile-headed god, Sobek.
