I have spent lots of time in Port Isaac, including listening to the Fisherman's Friends singing sea shanties with a beer in hand. I will take you on a walking tour of the village, including the locations used in filming both "Doc Martin" and the Fisherman's Friends movies. See Doc Martin's surgery, Mrs. Tishall's pharmacy, Louisa's school and cottage, Bert's restaurant, and all the other key locations. Visit the village pub used in both shows - maybe even stop for lunch? Stand on the Platt where the shanties are sung. We also visit the tiny coves at Port Quin and Port Gaverne, which also feature as filming locations. The tour can be extended to a full day on request to include visits to places such as Tintagel, Boscastle or Bodmin Moor. There would be an additional charge to extend - please feel free to ask us about this.

The tour commences outside of the 15th century Old Guildhall, on Higher Market Street in East Looe. From the seafront, you’ll learn tales of the wreckers who lured boats onto the rocks, shipwrecks around Looe’s coastlines…. to royal navy pressgangs rounding up recruits, it is the Looe you never knew! From ghostly tales of the white hare of West Looe Hill & hauntings at the Jolly Sailor - to trapped souls in the cells of the Old Guildhall… the tour will discover tales of the Town’s darker days.
