After some brief instruction we launch the canoes into the lake and set off into fantastic surroundings! After a while we find our way into an isolated hidden section, then we continue on until we reach a remote island where we can rest, have refreshments and explore. With a little luck, we may even spot some local wildlife. If you have the energy we can continue paddling to a secluded beach with a traditional outdoor shelter with a place for a fire. Here we can eat (according to time of day) rest and maybe take a swim. Finally we set off in our canoes again back to Johannisholm.
