This private experience is for up to 4 guests, perfect for couples, friends, or families. Just one ticket covers your group for an exclusive day full of culture, authentic flavors, and stunning beaches. We’ll start with San Pancho, a colorful town full of life, art, and culture. Wander through its vibrant streets filled with galleries and murals that tell the story of our culture, the surrounding nature, and the essence of our indigenous communities. In Sayulita, you’ll visit its famous artisan market, where talented local craftsmen create incredible pieces right before your eyes. We’ll share our top recommendations for the best places to eat in town, from hidden gems to local favorites. You’ll also have the chance to learn about and connect with the Wixarika people, residents of this region for more than 5,000 years, whose traditions and artistry continue to shape the cultural identity of Sayulita today. We offer convenient meeting points throughout Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay. Whenever possible, we provide direct hotel pick-up; if not, we’ll guide you to the nearest and most convenient meeting point so your adventure starts stress-free. At the end of the day, you’ll return to your hotel relaxed, with unforgettable memories and amazing photos.

This is not a typical tourist tour. It is a unique cultural experience that takes you beyond the crowds and into the authentic side of Mexico. From tasting traditional tejuino to visiting a historic tortilla factory and experiencing real rural life, every stop is designed to connect you with local traditions and everyday culture in Bahía de Banderas.

Escape the tourist crowds of Puerto Vallarta and dive into the authentic culture of Nayarit on a private tour for up to 4 people (larger groups welcome—email us for details). We’ll meet you at convenient locations throughout Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay, then take you in private comfort to explore three charming beach towns: Lo de Marcos, Los Ayala, and Guayabitos. Begin in Lo de Marcos, a vibrant town where you can taste authentic Mexican cocoa and stroll through colorful streets, soaking in traditional local life. Next, head to Los Ayala and discover the stunning Frideras Beach, accessible only via a short jungle walk—an untouched paradise away from the crowds. Finish your journey in Guayabitos, where you can wander local shops, relax on the crystal-clear beach, and enjoy a delicious meal and refreshing drinks. For extra adventure, an optional visit to the beautiful Coral Island is available (additional cost).

This is not a typical tour. While most experiences focus on beaches and popular spots, this journey takes you into the heart of everyday life in the Valley — where traditions are still part of daily routines and nothing is staged for tourists. You won’t just visit places… you’ll understand them. From sharing a real local breakfast to walking through historic towns, tasting traditional drinks like tejuino, and meeting local artisans, every stop is designed to connect you with the culture in a genuine way. The landscapes, the flavors, and the rhythm of life here are completely different from what you see in tourist areas. This is the side of Mexico that many travelers never get to experience — quiet, authentic, and deeply rooted in tradition. And because it’s a private experience, everything moves at your pace, creating a more personal and meaningful connection. If you’re looking to go beyond the surface and truly experience local life… this is it.

Meet us at one of our designated meeting points in Puerto Vallarta and travel north in an air-conditioned vehicle toward Sayulita. Our first stop is a cacao garden, where you’ll learn about the cacao plant, its origins, legends, and traditional uses, followed by a tasting of tropical fruit and chocolate flavors. On the way, we’ll visit a classic roadside fruit stand, once an essential stop on the long road between Tepic, Guadalajara, and Puerto Vallarta. Here, you’ll taste seasonal fruits and Mexican sweets. In Sayulita, we’ll dive into local flavors: a crispy red-tortilla birria taco, a Nayarit-style marlin empanada, and refreshing aguas frescas before visiting Mary’s, a favorite small restaurant known for seafood tacos with bold local flavor. We’ll walk through colorful streets and the artisan market, exploring Sayulita’s art, beach vibe, and connection to Wixárika culture. To finish, enjoy free time to shop, relax, or stroll by the beach before returning to Puerto Vallarta.
