Top Airlie Beach Snorkeling

It was a great experience especially for people who want to be in the water but like the safer option. To see coral in its natural habitat is absolutely beautiful. The host Sarah knew her information and I was very impressed about the knowledge she shared with the group. The team had a great vibe from pick up at Airlie Beach Hotel to the tour and back. I also recommend this is a great tour for children as well.

The tour was amazing and very well organised , the crew was well trained and funny. Starting from picking up at your hotel, and dropping at the nearby port stop, where other people were there too. After check in, they give you a sting suit to use and I high recommend, the water might be cold. The ferry was good too, music, food and fun, plus can close the windows if you don’t want to get wet. First stop is the white heaven beach and the hill look out, you have about 2 hours and is very worth it, the lock out is amazing, and of course the beach is white and crystal water. Bring water with u, some snacks if you want, sun cream, beach towel and possibly also comfortable foot wear, flip flop are fine if you fine with it After finishing this amazing visit, they give u lunch on the boat, all ready to eat meals: pasta, noodles, veggies, salami, bread and so on. The food was plenty After that they drove you to few snorkelling stop where the water is very clean, plenty of corals and fishes. Bring your camera or go pro in the water After that they drop u to the place where the trip started and the same driver will drop you to the hotel

Very fun day. Wear your cossies/togs/swimmers cos you'll be offered an optional wetsuit before you sail. There's nowhere to change before snorkelling, so wear them from "home". And wear shoes that you can get wet for the beach landing at Whitehaven, cos the rocks are not fun. Hosts were exceptionally good, Liza, Arden and Captain Shaun, all fun but all very experienced and serious when it comes to the boat and our safety. Liza's dancing moves on the return journey topped off a great day!

What an absolutely unforgettable day in the Whitsundays — easily one of the most intense and breathtaking travel experiences I’ve ever had. The day started early with a scenic flight over Heart Reef and Whitehaven Beach. I was unexpectedly placed in the co-pilot seat, which made the experience even more surreal. Although I felt a bit airsick at times, especially when the pilot began circling and descending low over Heart Reef to help us capture the view, the scenery was beyond words. Flying over endless open ocean with no reference points was both disorienting and humbling — it really made me realize how vast and overwhelming the sea can be. From the air, Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach were already stunning, but seeing them again later from the water gave a completely different perspective. The shifting white sandbars and turquoise tidal patterns at Hill Inlet are truly otherworldly — arguably one of the most beautiful coastal landscapes I’ve ever seen. From the lookout, the view of Whitehaven Beach was even more striking, almost unreal in its color and texture. Later, we took a fast boat out to sea, which turned out to be an adventure in itself. The ride was wild, fast, and incredibly fun — the kind of rough, exhilarating ocean experience that photos and videos simply can’t capture. The skipper was full of energy, almost like a rock concert on water, and the whole trip felt alive and unfiltered. We also stopped for snorkeling, though I wasn’t able to go in properly as I’m not a confident swimmer and there was no guide in the water. I was the only non-swimmer on board, which was a bit of a regret, but the boat experience itself was still amazing. The only real disappointment was not seeing whales, but honestly, the day was already so full of scale, beauty, and adrenaline that it hardly mattered.

Had lots of fun and enjoyed the ride! Jared checked in on us regularly and provides loads of tips. Can only recommend the experience :) I would have liked more information about the activity, storage facilities, and clear, consistent details in the text when booking online though..

This is an amazing day trip, great value for money. The crew are great and look after everything and take safety very seriously but with good humour. There is constant food and drinks throughout the day which is of a good standard. It’s very organised with plenty of time for the activities. The snorkelling was the highlight for us. We would recommend this trip as a must do when visiting Airlie Beach for a few days, thanks Cameira

Team was pleasant and very knowledgeable of the reef and surrounding areas we flew over. Though we did not use the provided transportation they very accomdating of us and the cruise's timing. Was a pleasant smooth hour flight and would fly with them again.
