Overview
Visit the wineries in the Yarra Valley without having to drive yourself on this hop-on hop-off bus service from Melbourne. The valley is rich in wineries, and it’s up to you to choose which ones to visit—up to four—without having to worry about driving. Have as many tastings as you want (at your own expense), knowing you have a driver to take you to the next one, and to get you back to Melbourne safely. Note: buses loop around every hour and some venues might require bookings.

We have done 2 other Yarra valley wine tours and was not impressed we were not going to come back. We gave it one last try and found the best tour option. Very easy booking and the ability for hop it to organise my day with great winery's I did not know about was great.

We did the red circuit started at Chandon and ended at Soumah wines. Jon was fantastic. A great personality and very knowledgeable when it came to the area, wineries and history. Very prompt, reliable and we would recommend as the tour took away the stress of trying to get out and back into the city and we were able to relax and enjoy the sites on our journey. Didn't expect to buy as much as we did at the wineries but so glad we did! Each wine tasting was next level and interesting to learn the process. If you are after a great day out then get onboard this tour.

It was a perfectly organised bus trip to the Yarra Valley. Jon’s fun facts along the way add to the enjoyment. It is really well run and being in a mini bus means a smaller and more personal experience.

We had a fantastic time on the Hop On Hop Off Yarra Bus tour! Jon, our tour bus driver, went above and beyond – he couldn't have done a better job. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the wine region and wines, and shared plenty of interesting information throughout the day. The tour was very well organized and always ran on time. Nothing was too much trouble for Jon – his friendly, funny and accommodating nature made the experience even better.
We especially enjoyed our visit to Domaine Chandon – the sparkling wines were absolutely outstanding, some of the best I've ever tasted! Four Pillars Gin Distllary was excellent as well, with a great selection to sample.
Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the Yarra Valley in comfort and style!

A great way to see the Yarra Valley. Jon and the team provided us with all the information we needed prior to the day. We had info on the bus trip and links to websites to book tastings, meals, tours etc. We planned our day and Jon gave us feedback on our plans to ensure we got the most out of the day. Everything is well organised and the communication throughout the day meant we did everything we planned and made sure there were no delays with pick ups etc. A stress free and highly enjoyable way to experience the Yarra Valley.

If you want flexibility in the wineries you visit but don’t want to drive yourself or hire a much more expensive private driver, THIS is the option for you. The best of both worlds! Jon was super organized (I love a good time table), had great communication, and was wonderful to interact with.

Travelling solo on tours can lend itself to a variety of experiences but this one really surpassed all my expectations. I booked it very last minute and Johnny was super communicative. He made me feel informed and got me excited for the day! All the wineries were very accommodating and the tastings were outstanding!

We tasted some great wines and Champagnes whilst learning a lot about Yarra Valley. Sara, our guide was fantastic! We didn’t realize we had to reach out to the various wineries we wished to visit to make a reservation prior to the day, but Sara came to the rescue and organized the day for us. Jon was a very helpful guide who selected a great programme for us based on our wine preferences. The time allocations were perfect and we had an excellent lunch. The meet up and travel part was seamless. The wines we tasted were very high quality. We particularly enjoyed the tasting at Coombe with a very engaging Australian-Polish host. Wouldn’t hesitate to go again. We went with our niece and daughter both early 20s and they really enjoyed it.
