The staff are polite, friendly, have a wealth of knowledge and are passionate about the horizontal falls and surrounding areas.
The pontoon is run like a well oiled machine and your safety is paramount from pick up to drop off.
It truly is a privilege to have had this experience.

This is a amazing experience and very informative. I learnt so much about tides and water flow plus the falls are fantastic. We had researched the tides before we booked and we were really glad that we did as we had huge water flow through the falls. The staff were really great with my kids allergies and the Barra lunch was awesome. My daughter loved feeding and swimming with the sharkes as it was the icing on a great day.

We were lucky as the experience was the most comprehensive possible. We saw the outgoing tide shortly after arriving and then the start of the incoming tide after lunch.
For me this was just the luck of the draw because I was staying in Derby at the right time, but for the best experience it would be worth researching tide tables to optimise the experience.
The whole (half) day was great fun the pilots of the seaplanes efficient and informative and the crew at the falls were wonderful.
The captain of our boat was very adept and full of information about what was happening and what to expect, he also knew a lot about the history and geology of the area.
Apparently the media think that the falls will be closed once the current licence expires in a year or so, but talks are ongoing and an agreement will soon be reached to extend the licence again. This is a situation that recurs on a regular basis and all parties are keen to keep it going subject to reasonable restrictions.
All in all a definite 'must do' when visiting the Kimberly's.
Best experienced from Derby rather than Broome as you get more time on site, unless you go whole hog and stay overnight.
