Overview
In 1883 when Charles Darwin set sail from Ushuaia on board the HMS Beagle, the peaks of Tierra del Fuego National Park must have looked as otherworldly as they do today. A haven for wildlife, the Beagle Channel is backed by the mountains of the last land of the Americas, and as you pass islands inhabited by sea lions, gulls and penguins rather than people, the proximity to Antarctica becomes tangible.

Getting close to the animals. They gave us ample time to take pictures. The island hike was very scenic.

There is a LOT of time spent going from one place to another. Photographing was not great and I had hoped to spend more time seeing the animals. The staff was great.

Long boring. We emailed to confirm ahead that there were penguins on this trip and were told that yes we would see penguins. When we got on the boat we were told that there were no penguins on this trip. We travelled a long way to see penguins and instead sat on a boat for 4 hours to see things that we could see from our cruise ship.

Notified of 1 hour time change the evening before. Rushed to get to the meeting point only to find it closed. Were told the tour had been changed to another boat because of the weather and finally told that it had been cancelled. When finally got internet we had received an Email advising of the cancelation. Fortunately we were able to book a tour on another boat at the dock.

We really enjoyed seeing and taking pictures of the seals and sea birds on their shared island. We also enjoyed walking on the small Bridges Island. It was really a lovely little spot.

Great value 4 hours around Beagle Channel seeing seabirds, seals and a penguin! Good communication beforehand and location right next to cruise port. Friendly guide in Lucas. Only downside was lack of health and safety. Boarding challenging for older and less able and no life jackets offered/ available

If I didn’t take the excursion, I would have probably been resting in my room like the sea wolves. The captain, crew and organizers were outstanding. If you get bored just imagine that you are getting ready to shipwreck on Gilligan’s Island with the people that you are with. With all seriousness it was very informative, relaxing and enjoyable. Very glad that I did it.

very professional-everything was straightforward.Guide was amazing very informative,boat a perfect size for a smaller group.The weather was spectacular and we saw many sights from the natural landscape to Sea Lions,penguins,Albatross etc.A gentle stress free trip,plenty of time just slowly cruising and then a wonderful walk on a small island-well worth doing.The views were stunning.Would highly recommend this smaller boat trip for either a morning or afternoon .

Lucas was a wonderful guide. He had excellent knowledge of the local seas, topography, flora and fauna, Birds and mammals. We were happy to see humpback whales - a real treat!

Guide très sympathique.
Nous avions réservé pour 5 heures de navigation avec un snack.
En réalité 4 h de navigation et pas de snack, seulement un thé. Nous avons l'impression d'avoir été mis dans un groupe qui ne correspondait pas à ce que nous avions reserve

Muy pobre la excursión. No se visito la isla donde están los lobos marinos. Solo se pudieron ver algunos,que estaban donde se encuentra el faro. una perdida de dinero y tiempo en una embarcación vieja

la excursion es la misma que se hace todos los dias, es una embarcacion pequeña, hay 2 embarcaciones y una entro en reparacion ese mismo dia por la manana , por lo tanto ofrecimos cambiarlos , el recoccrido es igual en todos los casos, se hace todos los dias, los lobos se van corriendo, se ven todo el año
